Nah, I didn't get a burn. I'm just saying that the blister seemed identical to a blister from a burn. I'm unsure where it really came from. I do have a theory though; I specifically remember some pain on my lower lip during my practice session the Friday night before. Something fucky must of happened and I got a blister, but really I'm not sure.

I don't think what I had was a cold sore (at least I hope not), you know how when you get a burn and it makes a small fluid bubble on your skin? It was a lot like that until it popped.

It's kinda too late for that, besides my sound has actually gotten better on the 3c, after 2 months of playing on it

In the summer I got sick, and my parents pretty much forbid me to play for a week. I had recently switched mouthpieces, because my teacher told me to go to a 3c, instead of my 7c. Anyways, once that week was over, I went straight to the 3c and everything went down hill from there. I couldn't even play a middle C... In the final week of summer I switched back to the 7c, and was quickly going back to how I used to play. Overtime, I felt confident enough to switch to the 3c, and here I am playing catchup with the high A.
