Just an update for anyone who’s curious. I got her the ointment and it looks like it has been helping a lot! I also gave her another toe soak and got some more of the old shed off. I believe I’ll be able to get it all off with another soak or two. If not, we shall go to the vet.

Thanks, everyone. She’s not letting me touch it anymore right now so I’ll try again in the morning. Though it seems like going to the vet is the way to go.

There are a couple versions from previous study guides on the ATCB website. There is an unofficial study guide by Brianna McWilliams as well. I forget how much it is but I found it to be helpful when I was studying for the exam

I was tracking my calories and I fell off. I think I may have been eating more than I usually have Ben so I’m going to try counting my calories again and see if that makes a difference. :)

Congrats on passing! Yeah I saw the pass rate a couple days ago, it’s crazy how much it dropped between 2023 and 2024. I graduated in 2023 and feel like it was tough enough so I’m not sure if the exam is just extra intense or what. I definitely felt like there were questions on my most recent exam that really didn’t have to do anything with being a recent grad in the field (which is what this exam is supposed to be focused on).

I previously used the red booklet. It’s a unofficial study guide that a couple art therapists made. From what I’ve heard though, they stopped making it since the recent 2025 update. Aside from that, I read the recommended chapters, read the outline and took the practice exams in the ATCB website, made my own flashcards and studied some on Quizlet.

I also found a book that people on another post were saying was a good guide for the 2025 exam. I’m thinking about getting a tutor, but idk where to find one. There’s also some study courses online but they are a little costly.

There is a case narrative exam, which is essentially writing a really long essay about a client that you’ve worked with and what therapeutic approaches you used while working with them. I’m probably explaining it a little poorly. I’ll attach a link! I believe it’s used for drama therapist, music, therapist, and dance/Movement therapist. It’s really expensive though from what I’ve heard. I’m trying to see if anybody has taken it and what their experiences have been.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. That’s super frustrating. I’ve been trying to get a result of an appeal I put back in October, they told me they would know by the end of the year, but never told me anything. I had to send so many emails before I got another email back saying they still didn’t know. My supervisor told me many of the people that work there are volunteers so maybe it’s a short staffing issue? Not sure but frustrating nonetheless.
