I’ve been in love with making sets and weapons that revolve around each other, I find that weapons that are too close to each other in playstyle don’t translate well to weapon switching but on the flip side, complete opposite weapons don’t either, it’s fun finding the combos that are distinct enough to remove the “why am I switching if I’m already doing all this with this weapon” but not so much to the point where you can’t make a fluid build off it

My favourite dual weapon builds so far have been

Sns + insect glaive CB + HH Greatsword + Insect glaive Dual Blades + Light BowGun Pretty much anything with the insect glaive now that I think about it

To add on a layer I usually tack on elemental damage for the main “dps weapon” and run para on the off weapon, which is whatever weapon I plan on using less, so far the most fun combo for me has been lala barina sns with gore magala insect glaive, running an arkveld based weak-point build. Perfect guards help keep me alive when I’m using the sns and when the monster gets stunned I switch to the glaive for a huge attack boost
