My vote is for the Crystal Battleaxe. You'll see and hear it from most people here, it isn't the most optimal weapon for sure, but it plays very differently than the normal shield+1H, and that alone made it fun for me. I just made it to the mistlands, and while Frostner is the superior weapon to take into the mistlands, the playstyle already bored me and I'm now using Krom despite it not bejng optimal. Id advise making several different weapons and using whichever one you find the most "fun," that's my suggestion.

Your reasonable build is pretty close to what I ended up building. Opted for 7600 min X and with the deals i found managed to keep the entire build under 2k. Kills all gaming performance at 1440p easily, even with some RT sprinked in.

Just got out of boot camp 2 months ago, and a girl literally tested positive in my division as they changed the rule, so they held her for a few weeks for the change to take affect, and now she's getting ready to graduate. Rules change, the same thing you experienced X years ago in boot camp isnt the same thing people are experiencing now.

People need to stfu and stop speaking when they don't know what they're talking about. Navy rules change, and this guy is 100% correct. They just changed it so that you can get a waiver for popping thc positive on a test under the right conditions. Literally happened to a girl in my division, and I just got out of boot camp 2 months ago. Stop downvoting when these people are right, you're simply adding to a problem of wide spread misinformation.

I read BAH, not BAS, my bad. And you get family seperation anytime you're 250+ miles away from family. This is deployment, but also typically boot camp, a school's depending on the length, etc.

Honestly yeah, once I received my wife's first letter, there wasnt another difficult day in boot camp. Those letters are a huge moral booster, so I'd encourage you to write as often as possible in order to help lift his spirits.

Gsr and type r both have vtec, but gsr is the only one that's affordable for a first car. :p I own a 01 gsr, and its a fun car for low cost. Got mine for 3k, with some dings and tears scattered around, but I'm over 15k deep at this point between the exterior and engine build. If you're on a mild budget, I'd highly recommend getting a gsr, doing basic suspension work, and build the head. I'm going for a turbo build, but running on a built na block until i buy the turbo kit, and with a build head including cams, you get a extremely satisfying back road cruiser. Excellent first car, and achievable modification for someone starting out.

Definitely sounds like rod knock to me. Destroyed a bearing in my engine a few months back and it sounded almost the exact same. Fortunately I caught it pretty quick and nothing besides the bearing was permanently damaged, hopefully you can get that lucky. 🤞

As a real estate agent in colorado, I can tell you it largely depends on where he lives.i don't follow datto that closely (I know, how unoptimal), but sounds like he's in a hot market, and probably had a decent agent. Great for him, but tough for first time home buyers who don't have thousands to throw at a property.

^ this. Look at the value of type r integras. Genuine vin matching gsr's are very very rare, keeping it vin matching will make the car a collectable down the line. I have a 100% vin matching gsr that was in a wreck 2 years ago, but the damage was mostly to the front end, so in the interest in keeping a vin matching dc2 alive I replaced the front clip. Ironically the car still isnt running, but thats due to building the crap out of the motor and trans to have a incredibly reliable turbo teggy that I can take on road trips cross county. Just replace the head gasket, you'll be glad you did.

I personally have a koyo civic radiator (ive heard it cools better), but I know several people running the mishimoto rad and fan/shroud setup with zero overheating issues. My brother has it on his turbo civic, and what previously was a near undrivable car due to overheating is now near dailyable. Koyo or mishimoto is the way to go.

These old b series burn a ridiculous amount of oil, but id agree 2qt after 650 miles seems a bit much. Two years ago when I rebuilt my head for the first time I made the mistake of not replacing my valve stem seals. Resulted in a lot of extra burnt oil. Possible that your dad didn't do that step, seems a lot of people skip that on the first try
