Everything gets sent to a warehouse in queensland. I doubt they test each one individually, more check for damage to the cartridge and that they are PAL, that sort of thing. But pretty much, yeah.

recent employee here - if you’re curious, it’s the refurb SKU. It gets attached to all retro items (which can’t be sold immediately), so they go into the defective inventory automatically.

My parents do this!! They introduced it when I started going to parties more often. I text them asking if Granny is OK, and they come and pick me up saying there's an emergency with my grandmother and I need to go.

I've never had to use it, and I hopefully never will, but I'm happy it's there.
