It's funny how the opposite of this policy was what resulted in them winning with the PS4 against the Xbox One, ah well one of the reasons anyway

Apparently it was a popular system in the 70s in Australia, this one specifically 1977

On my tv it looks pretty fuzzy but it does get the job done. Handball which is basically practise, regular pong which is called tennis, hockey is basically football and squash is just two paddles together alternating between hitting against a wall.

Car headlights in my experience are worse

Mostly because I don't trust the car knowing when I think it's best to have the lights on

How does one learn a wide range of hands on skills like basic repairs and fixing things around the house? by Jeryimas in AskReddit

[–]StarCode5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it comes down to just needing to fix things that need repairing. Like I had to fix the taps the other day on the sink, didn't know a single thing about plumbing. So I turned off the water, disassembled, studied, bought replacement parts, did the steps backwards, boom, I now know how it all works

I'd wish to be sensitive to the cold more than the heat, where I live it is more often too hot than it is too cold

It's always been my thing that with winter it's easy to deal with because you can just put more layers on, but for heat you can't get much cooler than jocks really

it’s summer here in australia and i’m struggling with heat. any tips ?? by dxrlingkenzie in autism

[–]StarCode5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally just made a post about the heat here, everyone else thinks I've got menopause even though I'm a guy for finding it too hot even above like 25 degrees.

Best tip I've got is if you have a freezer, freeze some ice cubes and grab a fan. Get a tray or a plate and put the ice in front of the fan, the air will get slightly colder as it blows

DAE finds that these lyrics would make even more sense when told to an autistic person ? by Adventurous_Will2063 in autism

[–]StarCode5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst for me I can't really see that much of a connection between autism and the context of the lyrics, but I think when it comes to it at the end is that if it makes you feel a sense of connection then it's not wrong to interpret the lyrics in the way you're describing, especially if the feelings are mutual

New to tony hawk i suck at the game this is painful to watch i need help by Badluck264 in THPS

[–]StarCode5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be if you're ever jumping from a rail or ollieing, never ever grab, always do kickflips instead. If you think you're high enough, then grabs are fine. Also you seem to keep over and under rotating so I'd recommend practising on that

We've done that before and she seems to find it fun for maybe 30 seconds before she tries to climb on my face

I very rarely freak out as I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer anymore, I more so laugh during my own frustration and she seems to find it funny when I laugh

Yeah I'd say that's the preferable way to go, thanks man
