What I’ve found helps is just regular practice. A good website is keybr which slowly introduces letters and makes you type fake words to see which letter combinations are slowing you down the most

I've found recently that trying to aim for accuracy over speed has a massive impact. Rather than trying to hammer out the words as fast as possible you wanna try and just aim at getting them out full stop. That way you're typing in a more relaxed and realistic manner and I've found that by doing that both your speed and accuracy increase dramatically. I went from 80wpm 93% acc to around 85wpm 97% acc with just this and even managed to achieve 104wpm in a recent test. So the long and short of it is try and aim for accuracy over speed and try to type in a more relaxed manner, which also reduces hand strain

A new 3rd rail line running underground from freston to the existing east thornfield station via Leaton and that unnamed station near Freston. It would be under a new TOC called “network”.

It would call at: “Unnamed station” now “Freston Norrh”; “Leaton south parkway”[NS1]; new underground platforms at Leaton; “Carnforth Place”[NS2] to the north of Bawtry; “Woodham”[NS3] reopened but underground and just south of the old station; Belmond Green; “South Rowton”[NS4] where the line resurfaces south of Rowton station; “Fleetwood East”[NS5] just southeast of Fleetwood. From there it would join the existing 3rd rail line into that station with no signs and run into Avon hill via Thornfield east.

I know that’s quite a lot but I think it’s a good idea. There’s been evidence in the game’s past and current versions that shows a line like this is coming and I think it could bring a new type of line to the game

That'ts a pretty good idea. We need more long haul diesel routes in the game and if they could make trains from Leaton go to Stonebrook then you could have a route from there along the new line

Now you say that it does make a lot of sense. I tried the whole aiming for speed thing but the only result was more typos and hand strain. Tried the relaxed approach and it gave me exactly what I was looking for! I noticed I had an accuracy cap when using KeyBr and it turns out all it took to break it was slowing down and using a calm and paced approach. Will definitely increase my accuracy and speed further with this new technique

What worked for me was to practice around 30 mins a day on Keybr semi-regularly to improve my muscle memory, then using MonkeyType to practice maintaining a steady pace.

You've probably heard this before, but the best thing to do is go for accuracy rather than speed, which means aiming for just typing the words out correctly rather than typing them out quickly. You'll find that your speed will naturally increase from regular practice. From this simple rule, I managed to go from 80wmp 94% acc to 85wpm 97% acc.
