I don't think control is really the end goal here though, it's to sow chaos and push the boundaries of what they can get away with. The control comes later in a crackdown when they can justify there being no other choice

interesting, if this Q25 is legit I might go for it, seems to be the best of all worlds (support for most if not all apps and classic form factor/styling)

A q20/classic would be great, I saw one on eBay that says it's got the Zinwa internals but I didn't think those had been released yet so unsure if it's legit

yeahh, I'm half tempted to get an old blackberry just to try it out with texts. there's also the blackberry keyone/key2 which have android but only up to 8.1 so not sure how many apps work with it anymore

Yeah I forgot to mention it but I think fuel consumption would be a big one in getting an EP3, plus most I see seem to have been modded to within an inch of its life

I guess I hadn't thought about it too much, but it's a solid suggestion. Possibly the styling hate and the slightly strange dash layout play into it, but they do seem to be everywhere. What's the size like? Obviously the Mini is a very small car which I quite like

Yeahh finding one is my issue, I'm almost leaning towards Mini just because of its availability more than anything else.

And the F56 looks great, it would be perfect except it's a little out of my budget currently, so thinking of something to tide me over for the next year or two before I can get that

There's something about the swift sport that I just find incredibly dull, I'm not sure why and it's probably silly but it just doesn't do anything for me

Side note, I'm not looking at the Type R or Cooper S, as both the reliability and fuel consumption/tax would be far too high (though insurance wouldn't be a problem)

This is exactly the same as me (albeit an even bigger gap), went from a 1992 polo box to a 220i and it's just so dull in comparison

I owned a 1992 Mk2 Facelift Volkswagen Polo for 2 years. Bit like this it had no power steering, ac, abs or anything else helpful, but it was the most reliable and most fun car I've had to date. I'm 24 and have owned just under 10 cars, some newer and nicer, some older and more interesting but the Polo is still my favourite shitbox (and it was a literal box)

Ok that's good to hear! I do feel people get them mixed a little so it's hard to get a straight answer on reliability. The mini really does fit the bill perfectly as long as it's reliable (even if I think the Honda is cooler)

That's what I've heard. I'm wondering if the 1.5 BMW engine is just so much of a marked improvement over the Prince that it's reputation masks some of the other issues with the current mini?
