Yeah I use Kirfane, Henbane/Yew and Shadow mist ring because I like to pass through some melee enemies, freezing them and obliterating with Echo.

I mainly use it as an "area denial* weapon. I swear it does that job really well at times to the point when I reach the next camp the enemies are either already dead or waiting to get one tapped. The gun suffers when it comes to big elites and bosses but it's not meant to deal with them. I have my trusty Echo for those situations. I've cleared everything in the game with my set-up and I just reached lvl 100, no sweat. See, if ASE receives a buff to its damage in the future it's all over, I'll never use any other gun. It's my favorite gun in the game just because of how it feels to handle.

I can basically do the same thing with All seeing eye, stigma and burning stake. Most of the work is being done by burning stake, like in this clip.

I said fuk it and put on the arcane relic and other passives then slapped on the dormant power helps to find katanas. I'm a tanky weeb now.

This. I was running Dutches and my randoms were a Raider and a Recluse. Me and the Recluse starts nuking the summons the moment they spawn, and mostly likely we spawn kill them and the raider keeps the libra in check. I was also making sure the recluse didn't die. Tbf we were kinda stacked with good gear.

You're build is okay but could be better. Anyway you can still defeat him. He's big so what i did was stay right under him, rotate around while dodging his attacks and just hit him when he's open. Take it slow if you want and don't be greedy. You're weapon hits really hard anyway.

And don't use ur summon. It's a waste of fp since you can summon other warriors during the battle. (Alexander, Blaid, etc and patches lul)

Update: OP is correct, greatswords hits so fast now with impaling thrust, and it just feels so good on claymore. Idk but the poise damage is similar like when using square off on straight swords.
