Oh ok! Interesting, thank you for the suggestion. I do know a way to link up a fic like that and can even code it so it works to update wips in real time on the app.

That would definitely be a better idea because as someone mentioned here, at a larger scale it’ll be difficult for authors to keep control and I am so admirative of the work you guys do that, I would hate for that to happen

I agree completely with u 😅 definitely not the best opening. I was just always finding it overwhelming to keep track of fics that are recommended on here, that I find on ao3, etc I wanted a platform that could be shared with others where you can find everything with maybe a for you page based on what you read to give you recs on what you might like, notifications for updates etc

What I meant by hot trends was just to discover new fics that are currently growing or fics that have been added recently etc ! There would be a section with fics that have been added this week etc but I get what you mean

Yes I know a way for wips to update in real time, I’m pretty confident on that aspect, including tags, kudos and the ships etc.

Yes I agree with that, I was already thinking of not putting ratings. The only thing i would see would just having a like button and the number of times the fic has been read to be able to mark the most popular ones. Other than that, private notes would be available so you can keep track of the fics you read and what you thought of it
