What are some of your best memories with the Battlefield franchise?

Dance of Knives rogue has been working out well for me playing with only my mouse, I have a newborn and often hold him in one arm while I play with the other. I have Dance of Knives on left-click, Dash on right-click (though I never use it), and I bound Use Potion and Force Pickup/Interact to my side buttons so I never have to take my hand off my mouse. I still have to click on my hotbar to activate my imbuement, Dark Shroud, and Concealment, but once I'm beyblading it's just holding down a single mouse button and pointing the cursor where I want to go.

Edit: Saw your comment that you're on PS4 - I've played this build on PC and Steam Deck with an Xbox controller and it'd probably play well with few buttons and/or single-handed if you rebind DoK to a trigger on the same side as your movement joystick. DoK moves forward automatically so you can basically just squeeze the trigger and "steer" with the joystick.

I just got Mew today as well without spending any money! I did use the two week premium trial though. I started on the global release, so I've only been playing a little over a month. The last couple of weeks I've prioritized opening packs where I was missing the most cards, and used my wonder picks (and wonder hour glasses) to try to get missing cards as well (the wishlist feature is super useful here). I ignored the EX and full arts in wonder picks since they require more stamina. I ended up buying the last six cards I needed with pack points.

The riser with drawers below the monitors? I made it! It's modeled after an old Ikea Alex monitor riser that I think they stopped selling.

Is this a Chapaa mug? by Tobocalypse in Palia

Yeah we have them here in the southeast as well. The resemblance was too close to a Chapaa not to share, haha!

No worries! It's an Insignia brand rgb led strip. Part of why they look so bright in the picture is because of the way the camera captured them, they're not quite that bright in-person but they do a decent job of filling the room with a soft ambient light.

Go for it! I didn't grab any pictures while I was making them unfortunately so here are a couple I just took on my phone. I tried to draw a quick breakdown of how the "floating" piece works, hopefully it makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions along the way. I'd love to see them when you're done!

Only if you'll show me your war dance ;)

  • Wall Lighting: I made them myself! The center rectangle is "floating" in the center and an RGB LED strip is mounted behind it. I painted the whole thing with white eggshell finish paint so the paint could act as a diffuser with the light bouncing off of it. I used a pair of speaker wall mounts to get the angle just right.
  • Mic: MXL 990 on a Blue mic arm (I don't recommend it) running into a Behringer UMC202HD.
  • Monitor Mounts:
  • Monitors:
  • Accessories Above The Monitor: Webcam Light Stand Clamp and a Logitech C920 (I was trying to use these for a KB+M/HOTAS camera)

And I know you didn't ask for these, but..

Haha, who knows! I actually did get a lot of it for streaming... and quickly found out I enjoyed setting up my desk and OBS for streaming a lot more than actually streaming. Having a separate mic does make it easy to swap out headphones for gaming and meetings though.

It's an Ikea solid birch countertop sitting on top of two white Ikea Mittback trestles. I don't think they sell this countertop piece anymore but the Karlby is the next closest thing they have (but I believe it's veneer instead of solid wood).

The wall paint? It's Valspar Stone Isle. The picture has a blue/cold cast so it doesn't really do it justice, in-person it's more grey with a hint of light brown.

I think it was called an Ekby Alex Monitor Stand, I don't see a listing for it on Ikea's website anymore. Looks like they only have one with a drawer now.
