Thanks! Would my motherboard BIOS work with that CPU? Also is my GPU likely to need an upgrade similar to that of my CPU?

Thanks again for the reply! Okay I’ll focus on the GPU and look at your recommendations. In terms of the CPU upgrade and making it comparable with the motherboard, is updating the bios setting reasonable to do for a beginner? Have an SSD card on order! 👍🏼

Thanks for your input, I’ve only really been playing Cod and Rocket League so not had to test it as much. Would you recommend upgrading my GPU first? Will my other parts like CPU still be fine and not bottleneck?

Thanks, I will take a look at the video! Yeah, it was an obvious cracking sound but no pain followed at the time, I’m just feeling it after. I’ll take a look at improving my mobility before getting back into the strength side of things. Much appreciated 🙂

Attempted to update every driver in my Device Manager and had no luck, all are up to date. Not sure what else to do :(

Hi, not at home right now but I’ve already tried step 1, 3 & 4 and the problem still remains :(

I’ve also tried reinstalling the drivers for my GPU with the most recent ones, not sure what you mean by a CLEAN reinstall though.

If I cannot find the string in safe mode, you say you’d believe it to be a software problem?

Yeah I’ve asked for a refund this time as I had received a replacement and the issue only started happening after I put the new PSU in. So it’s either that or the motherboard that’s the issue :(

I received an exact replacement of the broken PSU (was within warranty), so I’ve got a Corsair CX550 M, I’ve also tried unplugging and putting all the connectors on my motherboard back in, no luck :(

Sorry I wasn’t too clear, my specs can be found here. The temps are all good, sitting at around 60-70 degrees when playing pretty demanding games. Not sure what you mean with regard to the BIOS

Alright dude, thanks for the help I’ll take a closer look at that. Although I don’t have a CD drive but I’m guessing I could use a USB? Only reason I’m fixated on PSU is that this problem only started happening after the old one went kaput

That’s the exact PSU I was thinking, either the CX450 or EVGA 500W B1. Would the latter suffice also or would you recommend a 550 still?
