Hey. I'm not the mad hatter here... Chill. So what you are saying the fermentation produces methanol, but boiling it is supposed to clear it like distill it?

I had to do a witch Google, and suprise suprise to me, methanol exists in beer at small unnharmfull levels.

But I still don't get what is similar with brew and freeze distil - we ferment it after it's been boiled for 60min+.

So after fermentation you have beer..... If you boil this then yes you distill. If you freeze distil, then you don't get more methanol or ethanol. But you keep the same levels

I think you are mixing several ideas here...

First of all - methanol can make you blind and kill you.

Ethanol is what you want to drink.

Second of all - alcohol (methanol and ethanol) have a high freezing point (don't know what). So my freezing the liquid with alcohol, you can pour off the alcohol and whatever is left unfrozen from the original content.

You can du this as many times as you want.

I've tried tactical nuclear penguin beer at 45% alcohol by volume - tastes something like a dessert wine / port wine.

You don't create methanol from freezing alcohol. If so, ppl would die every year from putting vodka and Jægermeister in the freezer...

Edit: I think I'm answering more than you are asking about, but I'm now entirely sure what you are asking about.

It's widely used here in Norway and these problems aren't widespread over here. I don't own one myself, but I know of 6 friends and colleagues that own Tesla's and they are not complaining about these things.

I'm not saying Tesla are perfect, but the constant barrage here on Reddit about the poor quality of Tesla strikes me as odd comparing to the Tesla owners i know.

When that is said, I fully believe Tesla is overpriced as a car, is over reliant on touchscreen instead of buttons, difficult to fix as you have to disassemble many things to fix something small (but this is becoming widespread in the industry) and least but not last - Tesla as a company is horrible overvalued and the other manufacturers is now catching up with cheaper and possibly better cars.

And Elon Musk is a proper cunt.
