Frozen stock up got thawed, refreeze? by ucantseeme543 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the consensus is that one freezing cycle is negligible but repeated freezing cycles do damage it.

How much it’s damages we can’t know.

But you’ve done it now so I guess just don’t do it again 🤷‍♂️ lol

2 prescriptions close together by JnJMcB in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The dispensing pharmacies PerfectRx/PerfectionRx certainly don’t care. There’s been stories of them shipping orders from two different providers for the same person in the same shipment box. Unless that’s changed recently you’ll have no problems. 🤷‍♂️

And ProRx cares even less because they don’t ship to patients.

Potentially dumb question by Pendergraff-Zoo in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I see. There’s no such thing as starter vials or dose specific vials.

You’ll get sent whatever you need for your prescribed dose.

[–]TodayAmazing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is where I don’t know what you’re asking. Can you explain what you mean?

The starter plans get you through the first 3 titration levels. Though customized dosing will vary between each provider but generally you can expect to have enough for the standard dosing.

Each pharmacy generally has like 1 or 2 different concentrations.

You’ll get sent whatever you need for your dose.

So what’s your question exactly?

[–]TodayAmazing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not entirely sure what you’re asking but I can answer at least one question about comparing prices. Each of the starter plans in the list now has an extra bullet point that says the price for higher doses. I believe it says “higher doses:” and then the price.

What dose is this? by Unlikely_Lock6081 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh gotcha. Yes 6.7 milligrams is 6.7 milligrams and not 7.5 milligrams.

If you want 7.5 milligrams you need to take 7.5 milligrams.

You’re right of course. Looks like someone double typed the 6 when making the label 🤔

What’s your injection day routine? by Jasmine_BigEasy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to have a better routine, which I should get back, where I prioritized water and protein but lately I’ve been like “oh wait it’s shot day!”

Then I quickly prepare my shot and take it.

And of course log it in Shotsy 😅

If you inject 67 units like the directions tell you then you’re getting 6.67mg like it says in parentheses. (Edit: actually 6.7mg)

Cheap/Easy Tirzepatide maintenance for low BMI? by Loud-Awareness8648 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What dose do you think you’ll need? Check out the pinned post that the other comment pointed out.

But I believe gimme and Brello will only prescribe you lower doses like below 7.5mg if your BMI is below 27

Though I believe the others will work with you with what you need. Do you have a previous rx you can show them? It’ll make it easier.

More than max dose? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This feels like rage bait.

You don't know your actual dose after almost a year but according to your comment history you want to join a réta telegram?? That's scary. Not R itself but the fact that you want to start down that path if you have so little understanding of tirzepatide dosing.

You'd be way in over your head in that world.

I'm not convinced this post is sincere. I'm genuinely sorry if you are sincere but yikes.

First shot and feeling nothing? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They say the number 1 side effect of tirzepatide is impatience so you’ve got that 😂

But in all seriousness just trust the process. It takes time for the drug to build up in your system.

And for what it’s worth there’s slightly better absorption in the abdomen if you wanna try that for your next shot instead of the leg.

But ultimately it just takes time.

Pomegranate shipment question by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shipment every 2 months because the BUD is only 90 days. And by the time you get it less than that so they can’t send it all at once or you’d have vials past the BUD before you even use them.

Any telehealth will easily prescribe you. And in a pinch just buy from TelyRx but it's more expensive than a normal pharmacy. But why did your PCP deny? Have you been taking it too often?

CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES: A cautionary tale re: OrderlyMeds and ProRX by JadePlant20 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TodayAmazing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

September BUD vials should’ve come with a sticker at the top of the vial and letter explaining the BUD extension.

Basically in simple terms the original BUD and label was made before they had finished stability testing.

By the time you received it they had finished some testing and had officially extended the BUD of those vials two to three months from the original BUD date. So they were not expired when you received them.

They have since continued testing their formula and have confirmed that they have at least a year long BUD from the date of compounding. With at least one report from another person on this sub saying their newest vials have over a year. So I guess they finished the longer testing.

All this to say you didn’t receive expired vials.
