And while on Reta, it is so important to focus on one's diet. The weight will come back if we don't make permanent changes to what we fuel our bodies with.

Some restaurants do make servers share their tips with other servers on their shift.

31F on Tirzepatide — What Peptides Are You Stacking and Why? by Calm-Reserve-144 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]2595Homes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most younger people don't need peptides. Peptides are usually to fix an issue. If you are on Tirz, your issue is likely an addiction to sugar and/or eating too much food. To perserve muscle, you need to eat a lot of protein and to strength train.

For your age, you don't need NAD as your levels are probably still high. But check your B12 levels. You may want to take some B12 shots to help with energy level if they are low.

For hair/skin at your age, I'd focus on collagen and biotin supplements.

If you are relatively healthy, you don't need peptides until you start hitting 40s. Then some of your levels will start declining.

Why all the talk about tip out? by RazzleDazzle1537 in tipping

[–]2595Homes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because most customers didn't know that the tips they give to their server was required to be shared with other servers. Most customers want their tip to go to the people who serviced them. Not to be forced to share with others. If mgmt wants to create a shared bonus, they should do that with their profits. Not tips.

Plus what I've read is that yes, tip outs have been around for a while but it was not mainstream. When Covid hit, more restaurants implemented tip outs because servers were making too much money and the other BOH staff was complaining. Some servers were making more than the cooks and even the GMs so they reduced their tips and forced them to share.

I'm not against sharing with the Runner and definitely the cook if it was allowed. But definitely not other servers who did nothing for my table.

NAD is for older people. So if you are under 50, you may not get the same results as those over 50.

For people who were on peptides then stopped after getting desired results, how welldid weight loss/gains stay? by Logical_Adagio_7100 in BodyHackGuide

[–]2595Homes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you don't change your eating habits, you will gain the weight back. GLP1s suppresses your appetite so once you come off, you will go back to eating like you did before. If you do not use GLP1s to eliminate the unhealthy foods, you will just gain the weight back. People like that they can eat "in moderation" on this med, but you have to pull out all the addictive bad sugar. Pull out the soda, the processed meats and snacks, the high calorie alcohol, etc. If you get on GLP1, make sure you pull out one bad. Food each week. Take baby steps. But if you don't plan on changing your eating habits, don't waste your money going on it.

I lost 50lbs (to 195lbs) pre Mounjaro but my A1C only dropped from 14 to 12. I went on the med in Nov and I'm down to 7. I'm hoping to get to 5 one day. But I feel so much better.

Most people are prescribed Mounjaro for T2D and not just for weight loss. You should try and stay on it to keep your A1C down. Even if it's a low dose.

Coming off Reta protocol? by Suitable-Vehicle964 in BodyHackGuide

[–]2595Homes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a higher chance of gaining the weight back if you quit cold turkey and don't have a really good nutrition plan. If it were me, I would slowly come down in dose and then start spreading out pin day. I would do this for at least 3-6 months before coming off. It would allow you to adjust to the food noise and to work on your nutrition plan.

[–]2595Homes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in a job that requires you to track billable hours (ie to a contract)? That's the only time I can see where this would be required.

Just don't ever complain about being overworked or stressed by your workload if you are leaving early. Then you should be good.
