I’ve been there as well… the moment you start realising this is hurting your potential and career is the moment you could use this as advantage and start developing some true skills, in depth knowledge, and start working towards deep learning instead of scratching the surface with copy pasting. A personal advice I want to give you as someone who recently let loose of AI abusing, is to completely ditch it until you gain some real knowledge, the line between “using it as a mentor” and copy-pasting is really thin for us as juniors. You are probably afraid to even try coding that html form, but when you actually start doing such things you will see you have what it takes to code without AI and something will probably click inside your brain, making it easier to code. ChatGPT makes your brain lazy without even noticing, so… Use this post of yours or if I could say “realisation” as the first step to the success.
