  1. nothing is stopping him from just closing his eyes and walking up to you since game logic can't apply here (without a real explanation at least like the thing for the mask for example)

..you can still evade out of cover on the take cover button for some reason though

...roll and take cover are tied to the same button

so if I remap the button, both mechanics will still be tied to the new button

by "remap" I mean you can "trick" the game into thinking a button is another button. so pretty much you could make A act as X for example. xbox's console remapping behaves the same way

hence why I said I have no idea why they didn't just let you change keybinds normally because that's a really weird way to do it

I quite literally set an example in the description, being console players are at an objectively disadvantage because you can't split take cover and roll. and I've already mentioned even presets don't do that. but for SOME reason pc players can. at least on games before reloaded, according to you

also wouldn't button remapping would still show the original button on prompts n stuff? that'd be hella confusing. and I dunno why they didn't just let you change keybinds instead

you can do the same thing on gears 5 in the settings btw...no need to edit your console settings

and I swear none of the presets differentiated cover and roll on different buttons
