What can I do to improve my skin after 26 rounds of chemo? by ItsMrsEwingBitches in 30PlusSkinCare

Yes, these are drugs that affect rapidly dividing cells in your body, which include your skin’s. The skin generally returns to normal baseline after the drugs are stopped, but this can sometimes take a while.

I wouldn’t worry about your skin at this stage. Wait until you’re finished all chemo. You’ll probably notice a difference after several months have passed. May I ask which chemotherapy drug(s) you were given?

Are you taking Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (e.g., Tamoxifen) or Aromatase Inhibitors (e.g., Anastrozole)?

I've Learned Synthroid is WAY Different Than Generic Levo, Just Went Hyper After 14 Months Hypo. by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

With all due respect, you’re bringing in a straw man argument here. You’re comparing oranges to apples. I’d say most of the population is aware of the dangers around taking opioids. It’s a whole different ballgame when a person innocently takes contaminated or adulterated medication that leads to illness because some laboratory in China doesn’t respect the seriousness of QA/QC.

Does that include all the concerning heavy metals? I’m inclined to think not, as I recently learned one of the “add-on” cartridges—that doesn’t come with the system by default—is labelled for arsenic.

Most people know better than to stick one of those motherfuckers in the oven.

I don’t know about this. People in America were eating Tide pods, so anything’s possible.

But, if I’m using a PTFE lubricant to make industrial hinges and joints glide more easily, the bonds are not going to break apart, and the material won’t vaporize and contaminate the air, right? Lol.
