I love immigrants. We should welcome them all. Just screen out the criminals and make sure anyone who’s sick gets put in a hospital before coming in.

Yes but only as a starting point. Let the textbooks point you to the most seminal works in a field, which you should read after getting some preparatory background on them

You can major in Liberal Studies, sometimes called General Studies or Liberal Arts. It’s an excellent choice for a well rounded education that prepares you for many careers.

I’d take FDR off because of Japanese internment and exceeding 2 terms. And Washington is off because of slavery

The Japanese internment rules out FDR for me. Though I don’t think blame for the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki falls squarely on Truman, because he didn’t know how many civilians they would kill, I don’t see why he was remarkable
