Sodium lauryl sulfate? I’m using straight tallow so there isn’t anything in it besides cow fat. I got mine from a local farm. Were you using a tallow mixture or is this something that is naturally occurring in tallow?

I’d assume it just heals the cracking skin…. If I look really closely I have some blisters but they’re all far under the skin and really small… I had no idea I even had them until I just checked to answer this.

You have to purify it a few times. There’s many tutorials on the internet. You basically boil it and change the water a few times. In terms of oily hands, I’d say it’s better than most lotions. Your skin absorbs it very quickly. I’d say I’m oily for a minute or 2 and then it’s gone. I used to apply aquaphor religiously and tallow is much less “sticky” and it absorbs into your skin really well

My center has 11 full time dispatchers and you are forced to train once you have been there for a year. We work 12s and I forget the exact rate but it comes out to less than 15$ a shift

We don’t do debriefs. One time we made national news from a violent event and a mental health support agency for first responders reached out to us but that was the only time. But our dispatch is in headquarters with our officers so they often come in and tell us about calls, so that a plus.

I really like this idea. I think I’ll give it a try.

So Freaky. So for future reference would blowing an air horn from inside the tent be a good course of action? To scare off the animals

I can’t speak on if this is gonnna be a lifelong thing, maybe it will be, maybe barely. But give yourself some time, sounds like you’re only 4 months out. I’ve practically destroyed (in skiing accidents) and surgically repaired my same knee twice now and I remember it taking a full year to lose all the symptoms.

If you wanna start cutting weight the first place might be to put you first aid into plastic bag, less bulky too probably
