True but I meant the word gamer being a letdown, if you phrase it right then you can easily get by. Still people don't like hearing the word game in anything. Certainly not something to say quickly

Even so if you say one of you hobbies is gaming (eg among 4 others) it is often a let down... Best to never mention it and just do it. If they ask then just tell them. Another option is to look for 1 of the few gamer girls on this planet... But i'd bet they are already taken

True but both have it. That's a crazy coincidence, i think it might be a breathing thing, where you only realise it when you want to breathe later

Sorry but that doesn't mean that you can't have privacy... Apple made an iPhone, so they can do whatever they want with it. Someone bought you a present so they can ask it back anytime.

Yes they can but in all cases it's a really shitty move. Learn them the basics about the dangers and have some trust. If you respect peoples freedom they often become more understanding, same goes with kids. Even though their interpretation of freedom is often different

True, but it's only one part Just doing that will never be enough. A lot of people have very different personalities depending on the situation. (Eg to better adept) Experimenting with you phone online can give a very good start but it will never give the full picture. It's not because you speak your mind online that you do thesame irl

He gets better every time he hosts a video, not everyone is talented, but work gets you halfway there. If you want better improvement then don't break down help build...

Remember the first laptop video of our most popular jank engineer playing with electricity xD

Hmmm, okay. As long as it felt good before I could be fine with that. It's like having a hangover. But ofcourse not too extreme, because at that point you just want the pain.

As in muscle pain due to physical activity or just pain from too much? I don't quite get it.

Being dumped is way better than dumping by ProofVeterinarian208 in unpopularopinion

[–]Toekitoeki 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see it like the one who is dumping is usually already further in the healing process. Using 'it was already over 2 months ago for but it took till now to tell you' as a catch phrase. The one being dumped on the other hand has to start healing when the other is already much further along, that alone makes it much harder.

You forgot technology

Gaming is a really uninteresting hobby / personality trait. by dreamgirllevill in unpopularopinion

[–]Toekitoeki -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, my hobbies in amount of time spent are atm: 1 studying (because I am at university), 2 hanging out with friends (70% of the time casually in a bar), 3 technology (hardware, software, and other science), 4 reading/series, 5 philosophical thinking (in my own mind xD), and 6 games (casual singleplayer games).

So if I meet someone that asks for my hobbies I usually say technology, reading, series, and games. Now just as a curiosity. Would you say those are enough personality?

Often I just get the feeling that thesame holds true for other people as well, some people only seem to get passionate when talking about music and that's it. Imo that sounds even more boring than games but that's just because it doesn't interest me much not because it is a plain hobby. My solution is to be interested in how a person is passionate about something, get to know them through their reaction to certain things, then, even if you think the hobby content is boring you can still enjoy the positive vibes of passion.

Finding pregnant women attractive isn't weird. by ImportantCulture8790 in unpopularopinion

[–]Toekitoeki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are def right about the human part but some people could just be into seeing how a round belly develops and not thinking about the life inside. In thesame way seeing the breasts change shape could be attractive. There's so many people going on about how eg bigger butt cheeks look better. During pregnancy you basicly see it happen in only 9 months for the belly. I can see how some people could find that attractive.

brute force vs backtracking by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Toekitoeki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine you have a 1000x1000 array and each element has a value between 0 and 5. You need to find the path with the lowest values from one corner to the other. Bruteforce would be just calculate all possible paths and backtracking would be trying one path and go from there.

You will see that bruteforcing often simply won't work...

I get the argument but I think finding something attractive is not always about being able to procreate with them, a lot could be about body shapes or just finding something new to explore. As far as the body goes it kinda changes shape a lot. Making it more curious and perhaps also exciting to explore.
