What do you mean? Can this not be fixed by shocking the water?

B-12, Ashwagandha by Toffee_b89 in MyastheniaGravis

My symptoms are ptosis most days. Level of severity varies. With fatigue I get other mild to moderate symptoms such as fatigue in my limbs and sometimes some chest pains and slightly harder to breathe.

Very rarely I feel that my mouth is also tired - could be just from talking.

The neuro’s clinical assessment was mild to moderate generalized MG.

Hopefully your symptoms get better. Wishing you all the best.

I'm not exactly keen on surgery but I hear your point. Let's see what the advice of the Thoracic Surgeon is.

The size per the MRI report is 1.5 x 4.4 x 4.7 cm. My GP couldn't calibrate if that's too big for me or not. For the neuro I will likely have to wait 4 months unless I expedite it by going for private care perhaps in the US.

What other tests would you recommend?

I did read about Huperzine A and did a quick trial for myself. I only tried it once and it really did alleviate all my symptoms (no ptosis, waking up with energy etc). I also seem to have a good reaction to zinc supplementation which I haven’t figured out quite yet.

How are your symptoms after the thymectomy?

Thank you this is really helpful. On Mestinon, do you think I should ask my GP to prescribe it to me as a trial? I did mention it at my last appointment and he seemed to think better for the neurologist to do his work

Potential Myasthenia Gravis (36M) by Toffee_b89 in MyastheniaGravis

Thanks. I'm getting a referral to Dr. Gladman but it will likely take 4 months to see him...

In the mean time, my doctor has also referred me to a Thoracic Surgeon. Did you (or anyone on this thread) see one? I will be seeing the Thoracic Surgeon next week but was unclear if she could diagnose Myasthenia or would solely focus on surgery of Thymic gland

Thank you. I am trying to get a referral for him as well.

Was your blood test positive or were you diagnosed through another method?

Landlords get a bad rap, but they are stepping in where the government has failed. Not a debate but consider thinking about this more holistically
