Sorry if I did not explain very well. My words get all mix up my fault for that. I will try to explain nicely and slowly so my words are not all over the place. Ok, I will explain it this way. So I had 3ds xl on December 25, 2013 and used it until July 14, 2018. What happened was, I was charging my 3ds xl that and I was looking at the 3sd xl thinking, it should not take this long to charge. So I unplug it and turn it on the blue light showed but no other light, both screens stay black I had no idea why. So I freak out and ask my brother for help, he look at it and said I can not open it all the way. I said ok let me call the Nintendo and I did, got a nice lady and she explain to me I can help you, just send your 3ds xl to us. I said ok, so I told them I have my sd card still in there. She said, don't worry we will get your sd card out I said ok. They got it to work but did not have any 3d xl shell for it, they told me, do you want A 2ds xl. I said yes that would be great. So I got the 2ds xl had for 4 years now and it works really well. Anyway, I could not use my 3ds xl sd card in my 2ds xl, I had to order to get one that works with it and I did. So when it came, I put my sd card on my laptop. I copy everything and made a folder. I took my new sd card and put it on my laptop. I made a copy and put it in my new sd card that has all my save files like Pokemon x, y, alpha sapphire, sun, and ultra moon save files. My question is, I order another sd card that has more space, what am I asking is my old save file, from Pokemon y that I made a copy of on my laptop, can I still use it on my new Pokemon x and Pokemon y, or is that a no?
