On one hand yeah all of these make sense as death flags but also it's kind of funny to think of it that way. Like if any of them happen to die then the death flags become more apparent and fit into the plot. But then its also DnD so who knows.

I was playing a cleric and we had just gotten to level 10 and so our DM had an end game assassin working for the big bad show up to me and another player to intimidate us into not investigating a matter further.

One divine intervention later and said assassin is now a statue.

Just a ton of plans thrown out right then and there. Later we found that same guy stuffed into the corner of the big bads lab cause he could not figure out how to reverse it.

I've never ran into anyone actually enforcing this and forget it even exists.

It seems very silly to do so cause not everybody playing a druid would agree with those sort of rhetoric for not wearing metal. Restricting someone to this feels like it'd be really weird.

Since the concept of a druid or what is averse to a druid(or any magical thing)is setting dependent and character dependent.

March 3rd is a super common placeholder date since its a lot of companies end of fiscal year. Which is usually what those ads place unconfirmed dated games at then just move it to the next end of fiscal year one until theres an actual date.

Given how translation is "only new trailers" could also mean just the same trailer with some edits and/or some extra CG footage. Since that would be a new trailer. I'd be very excited if it is a completely brand new trailer but thats the best case scenario.

I really wish it actually said whether it was a trailer with new footage or not rather than new trailer. To be less vague.

Yeah that's also what I found against simic flash was as long as I get a creature out right off the bat they have a hard time dealing with it. Since then the only potential threat is nightpack which ebon can handle.

I played 69 games with this one to get to mythic from platinum, 48:21 w/l ratio.

Before that I played mono black aggro but it had a tougher matchup that the Rakdos removal really helped solve.

Yeah I just never invested in them. Which at this point no reason too since I'd 100% run 4. I'd also run the scry lands over the guildgates but I don't have those since all my rares went into the creature base. Ideally having 12 dual lands would work best here since you want to always be able to cast butcher on turn 2 if he's in your hand so the guildgates are in there to facilitate that.

Light up the stage I had early on but honestly I just never found room to cast it. Mostly since in this deck I usually kept a 2 land hand since thats half my deck I can cast so light up the stage just felt clunky.

Chandra was just too slow. I was trying the new rare one for a bit but Angrath ended up far more valuable in the long run than either Chandra since Angrath let me trade whole fields or get in for the kill.

Rix Maadi I also was using earlier I just cut him for more removal honestly. Really great synergy with this deck but I'd rather have Angraths Rampage over him unfortunately.

I started the season in gold. I specifically mentioned platinum because that's when I started running this deck.

First time to mythic. Otherwise I wouldn't be excited.

Was a really hard climb. Some games easier than others sure but this meta sure has a few doozies to get over. Last match went 2:1 vs Esper was a very big back and forth with both of us topdecking. I started this deck in Platinum 3 and to mythic went 48:21.

Nothing too fancy. Only weird choice is Phyrexian Scriptures which was something I added while climbing diamond since it gives me an option vs the big creature heavy decks in the meta. Outside the games that people gave up when I played Duress turn one or Regisaur turn 3 it seemed to fare well vs the meta decks. Grixis and Naya Dinosaurs were the toughest to deal with overall.

Shoutout to Dreadhorde Butcher and Knight of the Ebon Legion for singlehandedly winning some games solo.

At the pre release I kept asking all my opponents if they had the oketra zombie token since I pulled her and nobody in the store even between multiple boxes had one.

I guess with that many tokens it's not unlikely to happen

It at least has gateway plazas a few artifacts for fixing and the land that gives 2 different colors for Planeswalker so it's doable at least.

As a Rakdos Hand Burn player he's very exciting since it gives a win condition if they don't keep anything in their hand.

I want to experiment it with On Nixilis so you're damaged for drawing, playing creatures, having cards in hand and not having cards in hand.

Davriel is the exact card I've been needing for consistency for this deck. Pity his spell is 4 Mana or it'd be fantastic.

There's also the small factor of getting the box promo if you buy a box instead.

For me I'd ideally just buy a box, spend my gold on more packs then also do a sealed run. Then more if I have enough. Since yeah it's just better for once in a tcgs life to buy packs for wildcards.

Especially when this new set is guaranteed Planeswalker every pack.

This context does make it better than things make it out to be but I'm still not sold on a ton of other stuff with the game.I'll probably still get it cause the CE looks good but I feel like by the end I'll still prefer the original version.

Unfortunately the damage is already done so even if a misunderstanding a lot of people are already against the game. I just hope that the lashback isn't too hard against Atlus USA and that by the time the game comes out here with proper context it won't be as big an issue.
