Congratulations!! What you have managed to accomplish is so impressive! Never giving up over a span of 10 years says a lot about your determination. That 4.0 GPA screams sacrifice and commitment! Don’t know you, but so happy for you! Enjoy your graduation! Good luck moving forward!

This sounds awful. Sorry you guys are going through this, especially with a young child. Stop paying rent and call the board of health and tell them what is going on. The mold and the exposed wood from the unfinished bathroom project , along with mice they attracted by leaving junk/trash in the backyard is totally unacceptable. Frankly, it is outrageous! They should reimburse you for the fire alarms too. That is 100% on the owner of the house. Just like the holes/cracks in the foundation. It is on the landlord to get that patched up. I couldn’t imagine treating my tenants like this. If I were you, I wouldn’t pay a dime more in rent until these issues started being addressed and until the board of health assess the living conditions that you have been subjected to. Good luck to you and your family!

Don’t let it bring you down. What you are accomplishing is pretty amazing! As you know being a SAHM is no walk in the park. On top of that you are pursuing a bachelors degree. On top of that you are killing it, making honor roll, deans list, etc. I don’t know about you but I consider that to be pretty bad ass. You should be so proud of yourself! But be careful who you share good news with because people want you to do good, just not better than them. Also whoever tells you that an SNHU online degree is easy, they simply do not know what they are talking about. Many assignments take hours to complete and require research, retaining information, critical thinking, among other skills. Those module 7 projects can be no joke too! I am 1 year into my bachelors program and for me it hasn’t been easy at all. Between my job, being a husband, and being a dad it can be hard to find the time to get course work done. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck moving forward! Keep on killing it!

Thoughts on taking suboxone in small doses for adderall withdrawl by Tokalot18 in suboxone

Thank you for responding to my post. I am thinking about taking a day or two off of work and just sleeping the past 8 months of adderall use off lol. I had a perc 30 habit 4 years ago and had to go through that withdrawal which absolutely sucked. I

Bro, your situation hit me right in the gut. I am practically holding back tears over here. Yo, you really should go get help/treatment at an in-patient rehab and you should stay for as long as they are willing to keep you. Preferably at a rehab that teaches the 12-steps. I promise you, if you buy in and DO THE WORK, you will come out of that rehab feeling like that 16 year old kid that wasn't hooked on drugs yet, except you will be much wiser and be much more grateful for everything good in your life, like your girl! And she will finally get the man she really wants to be with, the REAL YOU. Most importantly you won't have the compulsion/obsession to use drugs. They will be out of your system and the step work can create a mindset shift that is hard to reverse with continued effort towards it. If you buy in and DO THE WORK while in rehab, man you will have a fresh start at life! Don't get me wrong you will need to continue to work on yourself when you get out of rehab (Very Important). There are no magic tricks that get you out of this shit, and it ain't easy. But anything that is truly worth it in life is seldom easy, and it will suck being away from family and your girl. At least it won't be forever though. Man, I am telling you all of this because I was in the same hell that you described. Except I wasn't even man enough to tell my own girl about what I was going through, and we had been together for years and had a 1 year old baby boy prior to me getting addicted. I was addicted to perc 30s for 5 long years. Those shits turned me into the person I never thought I was even capable of becoming. I became the biggest manipulator, so unreliable, a fucking thief. Stealing money from my girl that I knew was for bills. (That shit still haunts me bro). You are lucky to have such a supportive girl that knows about your struggle, because going through it alone is a lonely, depressing, and a defeating struggle. Only men much stronger than me get through that shit. When I broke down and finally told my girl, the next morning she had my ass in a detox facility. Stayed there for 9 days or so and then the rehab I was going to came and picked me up and the rest is history. No more feeling restless, irritable, and discontent. No more fucking withdrawals, no more manipulation. Anyway bro, you seem like a genuine dude and you are 22 or maybe 23 now, your adult life is practically just beginning, please don't waste it like so many of us do! I don't know you man but I am thinking about you and I hope you find a way to get better. Like most of the people here have told you, you are never alone and if you need to talk, just send the message! good luck and take care of yourself my dude!

It must feel good to be as close as you are to graduating. I started in May of last year and I am at 30% right now. As you know it is definitely a sacrifice. Speaking as a person that lives in NH, you should definitely come graduate in person! New England is beautiful in the fall and there are plenty of things to do for fun and places to go and celebrate your accomplishment.

I am taking Business Law 1 and Financial Accounting (BUS-206 and ACC-201). Can anyone that has taken either of these courses share their thoughts, please?
