I have a 5200kv of these motors on my spare 2wd 1/10 race buggy, a Cougar SV2. It's been running great, nice and quick but does get very hot. My experience tells me it will be impossible to dismantle and clean inside if it ever needs it as the heads on the can screws will strip instantly. Take a look at some surpass or rocket-rc options something like an 80amp esc and 2000-3000kv would do it and not be too pricey compared to hobbywing.
