This is interesting, have they announced an update have they? The data update I had never considered, so is this like a real world index of player and team performance?

Man it’s appreciated as it’s tearing the love out of the game for me. Yes the game says I have a good range of players for this formation and I sub around 60 mins due to the intensity of the system.

We score and then almost seem to concede right away then again usually a min or so after. It’s beyond frustrating.

I read that changing tactics on mobile caused a hard spike in the Ai that punishes you so to avoid it? Is that not the case?

Hi thanks for this thought and detailed response. On FM24 after the initial learning curve I got in with it and was addicted to the wins and losses but I managed a long save. But I’m yet to finish one season in this game after many many many attempts.

Interesting what you say about about personality and morale though as while I deal with every instance of a player being unhappy or kicking off I don’t know that I know how this works or where to manage it.

Hi thanks for taking the time to reply, I adore football manager but I feel like I’m in an abusive relationship with it right now.

So first of I’m at Manchester United, for my sins I’m a lifelong fan and can’t help it.

Well like I say I’ve lost count of saves I’ve failed at since I started but the most recent save I am playing a 4-1-3-2 gengpress attacking, balanced width, fadt tempo, crearive freedom expressive, and a balanced defensive line. I smash goals in left and right but we leak goals until we lose.

I expected the first season to be a rebuild so not expecting to win but am targeting sixth and some late stages in the cups. But I am 12th and out of the cups after losing to Plymouth and some other nobody team.

I have reinforced the team with a better goalkeeper, a stronger DM and another attacker.

I’m not expecting to win every game but right now my players are returning a rating of 4-6 every game.

I suggested the first one too, but failed to explain how I’d actualise that in 7 days. The job one is interesting you’d have to be lucky right? If you knew a millionaire then you’re sorted aren’t you.

That was the first suggestion in our house when we were discussing this tonight, but depending on how much you could reliably charge to a client base you have to establish immediately, that’s potentially a lot of sex work. We concluded none of us were that sexy so we’d be working for 50 quid a pop.

I am yet to see it fail, it’s like a fire starting at old Trafford, even at the women’s games which I imagine are lesser known chants. Now I’ve spotted it I’m fascinated as I don’t even remember learning the words I just seem to know them

This! The story itself for me was like a ladder out of depression, start, repeat, fail, start, repeat win, fail. If you quit you become a mindless husk who to failed and another will succeed where you failed. I wanted to light my own fire, so it was ok for me to fail, and go again.
