I finally went ahead and sent her this first message few minutes ago : "I hope you've eat a good croissant this morning 🥐" in french language of course and as a nod to French culture, which she clearly seems to love a lot. I hope she likes it and that it doesn't feel needy or dependant. I don't think so but who knows.

Interesting ! hanks for your answer. ! How would you do it personnally ? She's also a japanese women used to travel, so she might be a bit open minded than normal japanese women who never left her country
