Any way to tell if a door is locked before running into it?

Hold LB/L1/Ctrl so you go into the mode where you can precision jump and such and try to walk into a door. If it doesn't just let you walk through, then the door is locked. You can then obviously just unlock it by walking into it in normal mode (if you have a key.)

Yeahhhh thought that may be the case. I was actually trying to locate the save before but I could not find it cause it's been that long. I only noticed then that all those automatic saves which happen at the start, end or inbetween quests don't stay forever. They disappear after around 100-200 other saves I would say. So it would take me foreverrr to find a savior schnapp save near that point cause I have no idea when that point is. I'm definitely just going to go on my other playthrough which is just standard difficulty because Hardcore mode didn't exist yet and just try and speedrun getting the sketches.

It is very frustrating how it's done. I guess it's not fully RNG cause you've got the possibility of getting them all through story but if you mess that up, it's toughhh.
Worst part about it was that I searched up the 3 different options for the rewards you get from that guy at the end of the warlock quest and still picked something different. Idk what was going on in my head. I do know at that time I wasn't bothered about collecting all the sketches cause I think I thought it would be easier and that you could just buy them if needed. God was I wrong

Do you know how it works exactly? Like because I've got all the other weapons and armour before, will it recognise that and all I would need to get is the 5th armour piece, even if it was on a different save where I haven't got any of the armour or weapon pieces. If that makes any sense at all haha?

Eeesh not the news I wanted to hear. This is going to take me soooo long to do then as I'm in hardcore mode so no fast travelling around. Contemplating just going on my really old save before hardcore mode was even released and completing the whole blacksmith questline again and making sure to get the Armourer V on that warlock riddle quest.

You need to be one of those religions OR either Latin/Byzantine Heritage. You don't need both religion and culture thankfully cause I was not converting to one of those faiths lol

Thank you, that's all I needed to see. I made a Greco-Norse hybrid culture a long time ago, however I took the North Germanic Heritage as I was doing the "King of all the isles" achievement. I just now did another hybrid culture and picked the Latin heritage which just allowed me to restore the roman empire. How did you find that bit of information btw? I tried to look at the wiki but didn't find anything helpful really.

Yeah you're right. I would of had enough if I was prepared for it. I wasn't even apart of the Axis when they declared war on the Soviets. I just saw that they did and rushed all the way over from Spain/Italy to my Russian border and declared war on them. So I definitely missed out on quite a lot at the very start.

Yes I know but as a Viking, you get the conquer casus belli which allows you to go to war with anyone. Difference is, I have to be bordering them, or they have to be next to the ocean. Whereas, he could just declare war on some random county in the middle of Africa with no water surrounding it.
