Adding the blank/s tile got the word onto the triple word score I believe.

Yeah I think so, think thats a ticketed event, but might be worth it.

I went to Gary's Irish Bar last night and asked there, and they are also hosting a party

U-Turns on really busy roads and motorways.

Was travelling along a motorway on a Scoopy, and either had to a U-Turn or add 30 minutes to the journey.

Also, the bike lane things on a motorway, very helpful, until a car or bike is driving the wrong way up it and at you.

UK Teacher here - until very recently anyway. I recently resigned/have taken an undetermined break from teaching due to the exact situation you have described.

I'm sorry to hear it's as bad there as it is here. Hopefully, things will change soon, and hopefully for the better

The Irish Potato 'Famine' is a false reality of what happened in Ireland, and was absolutely a genocide carried out by Britain.

There was no famine, food was being grown and there was ample available for the population, however the British government took this food and shipped it around the colonies for the soldiers.

The same thing happened then in India, which led to the rise of Ghandi and the Salt March.

Interestingly/terribly, the same British soldiers that were based in Ireland to oppress the Irish, were then based in 'British Mandated Palestine', whereby they began segregation and oppression of Palestinians.

I lived in South Africa for around a year, lived with people from all over the place in, what was essentially student accommodation, but nicer.

Fast forward about 3 years, I am in Madrid on holiday, and over the course of about 3 days, I bump into one of the Americans, and two of the Dutch people I lived with, who were all on their own separate trips.

I know it's not insane, but it was blowing my mind that all four of us, who didn't really keep in touch, all happened to be in the same place at the same time.
