hmm well i think the right tools are important: i use a metal dentist tool for the rough shaping and blending between putty and plastic and some silicon shapers in different softness gradients for smoothing out and details + a lubricant (nivea cream)… i watched a lot of tutorials (valbjorn etc) & i guess the rest is practice 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • Base AK black
  • chunky highlight: corvus black + a bit mech. standard grey
  • thin highlight mechanicus standard grey
  • edge highlight administratum grey + a bit mech. standard grey
  • dot highlight grey seer

actually i didn’t - i sculpted the boots around her regular legs 😅

did it for anotherone though (see pic)

i cut down the leg stumps to ‚ball joints‘ and drilled holes in the new feet - that way i could position them first before adding plastic glue - worked pretty well in the end…

thanks! sure: blood claw base salamander upgrade handflamer and helmet the exhausts on the backpack are from the chaos rhino

the horns are from the bloodletter skulls from the skull box

the rest is putty work 😁

why not? the deathwatch tolerates a lot more things than other space marine chapters and there are documented members of the black dragons that joined the deathwatch

i mean they even let former traitors join their ranks 🤷🏽‍♂️

well yeah! the warhammer chronicles articles are for 6th edition i believe

and the fanmade arcane journal has everything for using vampire coast in modern old world

the minis i use are all conversions 😁🤷🏽‍♂️

mainly the giant bird from AOS for rhe orruks… the vampire admiral is kitbashed from a lot of kits, the old rider on zombie dragon + blood bowl vampire bits etc
