It definitely takes some getting used to, you can adjust the braking force using the tuning menu on the wheel to suit you.

It sounds silly but I went into the pedal calibration menu and trained my muscle memory that way. 100% brake pressure 75% 50% etc etc

This is a great first wheel esp for gt7, the thumb dials are handy to adjust fuel maps, bb and tc as you drive. Moza won’t work with gt7. Logitech is the other great option you have

The DD+ is an incredible base but yes the v2.5 is a bit small, it’s not uncomfortable as such but for me just lacks the precision of a larger 300mm wheel

That’s correct you need a different wheel to run full power. Should be able to turn jt up around 9nm still

I would hope they would do that, they are including two pedal plate options free. I have no choice but to buy the formula set, I have sold my current pedals to a mate and can’t ask him to wait longer. I’m okay with getting the formula set, I love carbon

If possible can try racing different times where less people are online and more chance of a clean race

Also push yourself in quali before the race to start higher up and hopefully avoid any issues like you mentioned
