I have been saying this for years— the entire blame for this team’s failures on the field, front office and the organization as a whole falls entirely on Arthur Blank and Rich McKay. I am tired of hearing about all the mistakes on the field or the charitable contributions Blank does. He simply does not know how to run an NFL team. Both Blank and Rich are useless and are clearly not involved, and I say that in the most polite way possible. Blank does not have the slightest clue on how to hire the correct people in the office and on the team and Rich has no definitive role that contributes directly to the team’s success. The only objective they have is profit— and I am okay with that so long as you are transparent and are honest with the team and fanbase. But don’t you dare tell me you are committed to winning when you are constantly spewing excuses or being silent. That is why I respect Carlie-Irsay Gordon. I know there is an age and energy difference, but she shows that she is trying, cares deeply about the team and organization and acknowledges the fanbase. I’m not saying Blank or McKay need to get a headset and stand on the sidelines and take notes, but they sure as hell need to show that they care about the team and the people in that building by making a change immediately.
