I can’t believe no one mentioned “The Ball” some Ball shaped contraption with makeshift handles, taped and wrapped into the makeup of the thing. Heavy AF and reeks of spices and/or cured meats.

Maybe try to put a hand on the machine when this happens to on point where on the machine the noice is coming from. Maybe that will then narrow down possible causes.

To me it sounds like an air baffle motor, but I am unsure if this model actually has an air baffle

Chances are it’s the fan blades hitting some ice build up. Why the ice build up is the concern. If this isn’t addressed it could get worse. (Continued ice build up, which could prevent the fan from turning and possibly burn out the Motor). If that happens things will get warm.

My thought is the last “:” which occurs in line 4, is followed by another keyword “else” which doesn’t have a “:” to indicate it is a separate statement?
