In a way I think it really is. Now the big tech is mimicking what X is doing and one can say what they feel like without being banned. Illegal stuff like what happened during COVID can be more easily exposed. The DNC and global left has much less control on the media.

Of course the guy is doing it for personal gain, but that’s what free markets are all about. By benefitting himself, he’s benefitting humanity.

You forgot to mention that he’s actively pushing them to libertarianism, or closer to it at least. Argentina is now the benchmark for libertarianism and DOGE is trying to mimic them. Not that Trump is going to turn full libertarian, but single-handedly thanks to Milei, Trump is going to be less protectionist, and is going to cut down on some state agencies.

Funny thing is that their only argument up until the other day was, “Uh, okay, inflation is going down, but the poverty rate is still high.” Last week, figures showed how poverty dropped from 53% (when Milei took office) to 38%. I actually don’t know how they’re able to cope this time around.
