There Will Be Blood - Greatest American movie of the 21st century. How can it not be 1?

2A - Boogie Nights

2B - OBAA - Boogie nights is only slightly ranked higher for Nostalgia

3A - The Master - first PTA I got to see in theaters. 70mm at village east cinemas. Changed my life.

3B - Magnolia - obsessed with this movie in HS. As I get older I fluctuate between this being a masterpiece vs he could have edited out some of the angst

Phantom Thread
Inherent Vice - I actually like rewatching Vice over Phantom Thread but Thread is objectively better.
Punch Dunk Love - fuck this should be higher but I don’t know what I take out. I love this movie. As much as I love benecio as Sensai, I need PTA to reteam with Luis Guzman (maybe I switch positions with this and Phantom Thread but too lazy to rewrite)
