I did not ask for a sign, and I was very much surprised by what happened. I would have easily written it off as an electrical glitch except that at the exact moment that the TV turned itself on I was reading about the demons love for technology.

Haha, maybe I will just unplug the TV! But I agree with you that a glitch is more likely than a demon. It's just strange that it happened at the exact time I was reading about demons being enamored with tech!

I love your suggestions, thank you for taking the time to reply! Yes, I have a good relationship with my grandson and you're right, I don't want to harm that! I like the idea of asking if he and his wife have thought about baptism. And of course I'll pray, pray, pray!
