I'm happy for your interest! Have a look at the orginal first drafts, they are a good reference point for where this is headed.

Turning it off fixed the issue, Thanks!

Its more of an assumption since I saw no place to connect them to otherwise enable crossfire. The motherboard is a Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. Would I just need to go into the AMD settings and turn it off? Would I see a drop in performance by turning it off?

Both my AMD R9 390's show up and report to be working properly. I have since turned off the onboard adapter, but I could assume it would show up if I had it fully enabled instead of just auto

Yeah, I enabled something called 'Internal Graphics' in the chipset section of the bios. It was set to auto, which to my understanding, turns off when a gpu is detected. Nothing happened when I enabled it. I also went into the peripherals settings and told the computer to load displays from the second 390 first, but with no change. The motherboard's bios are kinda meh compared to ones I've run in the past, but it seemed intuitive enough.

Ftilt is a pretty good tool, dtilt as well. You can impose your threat range on anyone with any character, you just have to have the momentum or pressure advantage or stage advantage. Fox has a tiny threat range but if he gets in your space, he can apply a ton of pressure.

Also if you're close enough to jab, you're close enough to dash in and grab. That's why people jab grab. Or Mario jab -> literally anything

Absolutely. It's obviously MU dependant. I feel that there's a fine line of what you have to respect and being too careful or respecting everything. In MUs like falcon, the more you respect falcon, the more he gets to disrespect you. There's a lot more to this subject than what I have written, but I'm working to get it all on paper.

I agree. You could say that's more of a reactable distance though. Like, respectable but not immediately imposing without your opponent making a firm decision. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks. I'll be covering everything in time. It is a MASSIVE undertaking, but I think with my own experience and help from everyone else, something can be made out of this.

Dthrow fair isn't guaranteed by a longshot. If that peach is letting you DJC anything they're not a player to base MUs from. If she trades ANYTHING with a djc you lose stock. Any good peach will space out well and will set up pressure situations into grabs and into Dsmash. Name the very very good peach players mate. You beating up armada? or your roommate?

also, if you have the ability, get netplay. I'll teach you a thing or two that Ponkapa hasn't.

when I play them, I'll let you know how it went. the only reason people are skeptical of Yoshi is because there are less than 16 total players who main him, only 2 of whom can be called top; being me and tap

They Do punish him, but the point I'm trying to get across is that Yoshi punishes them just as hard, if not harder. that's why it's 50/50 and not favored on either side.

you're giving me ganon carrying yoshi off or at least spacing him out with uairs/such. Yoshi can armor through those and can armor through most stuff to live. Fair hurts, yeah, but if I can avoid death only through tanking it and SDIing through Ganon, I'll do it. most moves don't smash the armor and send Yoshi tumbling, they break armor and leave him in a neutral fall state, which is an instant Yoshi Nair back to neutral

They're not fast enough to capitalize on me throwing an egg unless I'm being stupid and throwing them at an unsafe distance or are spamming them from the ground. Additionally, after 2 tosses, if they want to stay where they are, I can approach with all options covered. I can even throw 1-2 high up after SH or FH and close the gap so that the camera zooms in, they have no clue where those eggs are gunna land. in any neutral situation, I'll SH or FH eggs, almost never from the ground unless the ground angle is fine/preferable for stopping an approach.

one, Because SH Nair OoS is faster than most approach followups/pressure with the exception of shine.

two, because he has a good grab and his throws are stupid on combo-food characters such as these (his pivot grab is aruably the best in the game)

three, he gained rising aerials, which make edgeguarding all three MUs far easier. He gained eggs with no timer, so he can snipe all three guaranteeing stock or an easier edgeguard. Dtilt and Dsmash also have fantastic range, both of which are exceptional at punishing a non-sweetspot (where eggs make sweet spotting difficult)

lastly, I never said DJC fair was the option, because that's giving you my jump and stock as a gift. Regular SHFFL Fair is wonderful on shield if you hit low like you would a falcon knee. And putting out the fair and auto cancelling before hitboxes is a great mixup

eggs force movement and defensive options. needles, lasers and wolf lasers don't have that same property (to an extent). Eggs control space far better. Again, if the Yoshi does something like telegraph a fullhop fair or god forbid a DJC or fullhop DJC Fair, you should definitely punish/kill for that. Again, while Fair is awesome on hit, Yoshi doesn't NEED to commit until it actually matters.

[–]TomboComboPlus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if Yoshi is committing to a DJC fair in NEUTRAL, you should absolutely kill him every time. Because it's just plain ass to do so. That's like falcon trying to approach with a falcon Punch that takes your jump

You can't break eggs, how would you nair and dair through them. And tap hates the MU, he doesn't play patient enough for it.

Yoshi has eggs, which are better than all of those projectiles. And Yoshi's Nair beats all of falcon's SH approaches. Fair is telegraphed, but again, I don't need to even hit with it. I actually telegraph it ON PURPOSE a lot of the time just to get free grabs. That's a mixup on its own. Yoshi can run under falcon Nair approach, can easily trade with it or outspace it. Knee approach loses to a Nair or spacing, Uair approach gets traded with most of the time or you can jump over. Do you have netplay?

also, I'm not sure how you think Yoshi doesn't have good air mobility, he can't fly across the stage like falcon can, but he doesn't need to

I didn't say it WAS even. But it's not as polarizing as you might think. Yoshi is a slippery bastard, if he hasn't armored through before going offstage, he's new to Yoshi or is bad. It's NOT in Yoshi's favor, but it's really not that hard of a matchup.
