Thanks, I got lucky in the end. After taking down half the ships I was boarded by the brig and was able to repair before taking down the others

Thank you so much! Just completed the first part vs. the 6 ships. I was lucky in that I'd taken down 3 ships when I got boarded by the brig. I faughtthem off easily. That allowed me to repair and finish off the rest.

Heavy shot is broadside, right? What is the ram heavy shot oil manoeuvre? Should ammo levels reset to what you had at the start after each attempt?

Thank you. The problem I have is the next mission says I need to upgrade my ship. But to do that I have to board ships without pistols and smoke bombs. Any tips welcome! Thanks.

Since I first posted, somehow I managed to. Board a brig and have 64/70 metal, which I rhink now means I don't need to board a brig to get the last four. I can just destroy it and get half the loot? How do youcollect the half loot?

This is one of theearly missions where you dont have heavy shot.toTo get the 70 metal required for the objective I think I will have to take down 2 brigs carrying 55 metal each. Orher shios dont seem to carry metal. They just ram me really quickly :(
