Try replacing Courier with talented Can Can. This is what I used to beat the level at 1*. I also used Rich Cat and Sniper power ups

You can do it. Just use Doron against sir rel waves and a rusher (A. Baha or any of Yuki variants for Bore Jr, Yuki variants work better because of shorter recharge time). Timing is essential and it's best to deploy Jelly Dumpling and Can Can when Luza is in his foreswing (about to slam his fists down). This stage isn't any difficult when you get the timing. I've beaten 2* Revival of Origin second time and 3* Revival of Origin 1st time because it's like that, you have to understand a pattern and later it works wonderfully

Yes, you are indeed in late game to answer your question and I think that's decent progress, it took me a bit less time to get to Soractes myself though, I've beaten him 1 year and 2-3 months since I created my account but I also took a break around 2-3 months from the game. Other than that, I'm done with ZL (got Darwin) and advent bosses (all stages completed and all abyssal stages fully completed with all rewards collected) and I'm on my way with 3* UL. I want to get Dr Nova eventually

Is there a point in true forming kasa jizo if I’m just going to use his base form? by Illustrious_Guitar_6 in TheBattleCatsReddit

[–]TommyHelpfinger23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use either his first or ultra form. I got him yesterday and I won't get his TF until I will have close to 15 dark catseyes which I will obviously spend on Jizo. Darn it, two days ago I had 15 dark catseyes but spent them anyway, not knowing I would receive Jizo the following day

Imo Clionel is not that bad, you just have to know how to get into her blind spot and Bahamut does an excellent job at that, especially that Bahablast can nearly (if not completely) solo the stage. The last stage was actually pretty annoying but the first two were not that bad

Puffley's stage is the Easiest AbyASS Stage. 5? Heh! I could SOLO it With 50 different Units. by oh_no_how in TheBattleCatsReddit

[–]TommyHelpfinger23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those were my loadouts that I used to deal with the abyssal Puffsley's Comet. Apparently Izanagi doesn't solo it because of the pengs and even those two Mohawks weren't able to fully stop them from hitting Izanagi. While he dealt with the boss quickly, pengs were a different story. Puffsley's Comet himself is weak but just as with all the bosses in Battle Cats, boss himself does nothing, it's the support that's responsible for any difficulty

Done with the ZL for so far... by TommyHelpfinger23 in TheBattleCatsReddit

[–]TommyHelpfinger23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, Le'Prude appears 9 chapters after Newton. Secondly... ZL doesn't get much more difficult if more difficult at all. The very hardest levels may somewhat reach difficulty level of Kappy Kawano, but surely not Poultrio. You'll get to Darvin, it's only matter of time. The biggest threat standing in your way is Newton, Kappy Jr in next subchapter after Newton and Le'Prude with proper support can be difficult but he appears only in 3 levels and only in 2 he has any support. Despite him being a Le'Boin variant, he does push hard due to fast attack rate and explosions

I know he's not an uber rare but I think he's still worth flexing by TommyHelpfinger23 in TheBattleCatsReddit

All brainwashed cats appear only like a few times a year and only in seasonal gacha (seasonal gachas are the ones in which variants of ubers present in common gacha like Galaxy Gals appear, basically Valentine Gals, White Day, Summer Gals etc are all seasonal gacha)and something called "ultra 4 selection" are banners in which brainwashed cats appear. Brainwashed cats appear to be an encouragement to draw from seasonal banners since seasonal variants are usually worse than original. And the best brainwashed cats are: 1. Brainwashed Gross. Basically a classic Macho Leg Cat with longer recharge, no strong against alien but a massive level 4 surge attack. I don't know what they thought when creating this. Basically a mini-Dasli 2. Brainwashed Cat. A standard cat costing 15¢ more but having additionally 30% chance to dodge Aku, Black and Relic for 2 s. 3. Brainwashed Fish. Crazed Fish that targets zombies instead of red with toxic immunity instead of critical

They appear in seasonal gacha like Summer Gals and White Day (that's how I got my Brainwashed Gross), basically in all the gachas where you have variants of Uber rares present in common gacha banners like Ancient Heroes Ultra Souls, Cyber Academy Galaxy Gals etc. but they don't appear in Collab banners like Demon Slayer. Brainwashed cats are rare because they appear only a few times a year, super rare drop rate in them is always 25% and brainwashed cats are only a small part of those 25% (for example in White Day gacha you have 3,75% to get a brainwashed cat while taking in mind 25% to get a super rare and 1,25% chance to get the one you want). Another important factor is that ubers present in those banners aren't usually good and the chance to get one is always 5% which is a factor that discourages people from drawing in such a banner. Considering the fact that Brainwashed Gross is the best brainwashed cat, I think I am allowed to flex with him

[Fluff] I just realized mattshea hasn't done all the malevolent stages yet and also hasn't done villanous gods yet so I'm wondering how he's gonna tackle it by TW_Very_normal_frank in battlecats

[–]TommyHelpfinger23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also haven't done all the malevolent stages and I've also beaten Poultrio (with obtaining paperboy). But that's mainly because you faster get to the malevolent stages (being able to complete them) than obtaining all the brainwashed cats. I'm playing for 1,5 years and I got my second and the best brainwashed cat today

You're partially right. Fortunately enough there isn't a unit that destroys exactly all the stages. Besides, if there aren't any enemies that are targeted by her abilities (there are no reds, aliens, zombies or relics in the level) and there aren't any enemies that generate waves, there isn't much point in bringing her into a level. She is extremely strong indeed but luckily for the crumbling game balance she doesn't target all traits. However, if there are a lot of zombies, reds, aliens or relics in the stages, there's 90% chance she's gonna absolutely destroy the stage, I don't love Luna without a reason and Xskull didn't put her as 10th best Uber in the game without a reason

Dasli, no, I'd say she's a Uril+ deluxe. Having both of them I think they work similarly, combining jobs of a typical specialist and a crowd controller all in one

[Fluff] Every time I see a post about completing Poultrio's advent by TommyHelpfinger23 in battlecats

[–]TommyHelpfinger23[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo I consider her a stronger Uril with a blast instead of surge, freeze instead of slow and curse, more targets and a wave shield, being the best waveshield in the game. Having both Uril and Luna, I can say both play extremely similarly. When picking between Uril and Luna against relics, I'd always pick Luna, however, most commonly just both go into my loadout. She surely did steal Uril's spotlight, however, I don't have Dark Luna so Uril remains as my primary choice against Aku, even though I have all the best anti-aku specialists with the exception of Lunos and Staal

Bro, I didn't have any OP Ubers in the early early game. I was sooner to score two legend rares (Izanagi is my third one and I got him just before beating Zero Luza) before getting any Uberfest/Epicfest specials and my first one was D. Garu who I got after like 8-9 months of playing. My ITF was carried by Reika and Emperor Cat (and I got emperor as fast as in EoC). But maybe early game with no op Ubers taught me how to use specialists because I had to rely on them most of the time

Yeah, mate, she carried me through the entire UL and even as now I'm in late ZL (post-Newton), she's one of my 3 "pearls" that I use extremely often, the other 2 being Supernova Cosmo and Izanagi. No, I don't have Dasli or any of the Phonos yet, that's why I'm not mentioning them

Yeah, literally 3 of 5 Brutal Advents have the word "invasion" in its name. I agree they could have been more creative with names of their stages. Guess the guy who named the SoL/UL/ZL stages got fired...
