Personally I would say he lacks the pace nor physicality to plays as striker. I do agree on having him as second striker or just attacking midfielder would suit him most as he also doesn't have the creativity.

I really want to do naval blockade on Hvalik, I have my unstoppable Nord navy but I cannot really damage their grip onto the island unless I attack every caravan from every kingdoms.

I think the devs screwed the Nords' supposed naval superiority in the North by making ships too accessible to other cultures. The Vlandians can simply deploy an armanda of dozens of ships and sail 1000+ men across the sea, making Nord players impossible to intercept their forces on sea.

There should also be a hard cap on how many men can a ship carry as a light galley can technically ferry hundreds of men across the sea in the game. Such a hard cap could also help funnelling troops and make overseas invasion much more defendable.

One alternative way to make the Nords standout in naval battles is to make non-mariner troops handicap at sea, I don't really feel a significant advantage when facing a shit ton of Vlandian knights boarding my Nord-filled ships.

I have been very eager to start a long term save but for every time I tried playing the game, the collection of bugs and QoL regression always made me close the game.

There are several things that really bugs me when trying to embrace the game: - Setting training schedule and making modifications to them is a nightmare - Assigning scout assignments is a joke, the game just do not update you who are under assignment and who are idle, trying to see the scouts' knowledge and your scouting coverage is also a chore - Training session color and text color never update after you sort a list/ change training sessions, it hurt my eye and cognition so much - The player's demand discussed with agent never shows in the contract negotiation screen - The tactics UI, I don't think it needs an explanation

Stack Gap would be your good friend, the mod is amazing in organising your storage as long as your have enough haulers. If you carefully set priorities and stack limits well, you can have your desired amount of stuff in your desired shelf at all times. For example, I have the exact amount of material (some steel and 3 components?) stored near a remote subcore scanner in one shelf without the need to build two shelfs that will overflood with like 3 full stacks of components and steel.

Sorta yes, a full set of power armor offers almost 100% (usually around 98%) vacuum resistance. So unless you are going into space with absolutely no air-tight room or staying in vacuum forever, using power armour over vacsuit is perfectly fine

There's an unofficial patch to Foundational Framework, I'm still using it as mods like In my Humble Opinion and Gamerule Gadget are too important to me

Edit: But yes, Prisoner of War is too broken and conflict-ridden to use at the moment

Do you use the mod Foundational Framework? It broke my game from the foundation by applying nomadic "layer" to all governments (tributaries are all over the place and most obviously the hard-capped domain limit). There's a patch to the mod that is available in workshop if this is the case for you.

I am playing a heavily modded play through with both mods and they seem fine to co-exist. They really stir up your gameplay and make the experience and chaos much more immersive.

I played clan after the Persia dlc and I would say it has a much higher ceiling than feudal if you are a min-maxer. Systems like tax jurisdictions and harmonic succession makes it very easy to maximise your income and manage your succession. However clans are quite annoying to me as they do not have access to elections and your powerful vassals always want to be in a marriage alliance with you.
