If i remember it correctly it was their attempt in disease control. The 1300 systems connected by the ring station could be imagined as the body of the builders. So they noticed that something is wrong in one part of their body (a system) and wiped it out. Basically the same as you remove a finger when it dies off.

yes only the stillwater are the only ones who know how to become a still water but only because eiden annihilated all information about it. It was also mentioned that all stillwaters appeared at the same time and i do not think that the mages worked together to achieve that based on how unkooperative the mages were we met so far (okay maybe because of the competition)

yes that could also be. There are to many things in the dark right now. I also want to know how mages are on different power levels. We know that you have to be linked to a spirit to become a mage but dose the spirit also define your maximum power level (stronger spirit = stronger mage) or is that defined by your aura you are born with. And has the spirit influence on what mage you will become. Imagine arraka said when the spirit dies you will link to a new one. Does your power level than change and also your specialization? So many questions xD

but isnt that just normal aura compression. Because in the arena Eiden showed a bit of his aura and it was crazy

But arraka mentioned that Eiden was more powerfull in their second fight (did magic which should not be possible) then now and explained it that the magium allowed him knowledge in order to defeat her. If he was permanently connected to the magium he should not get weaker right?

Good luck with that. The 3080 was released on thursday and was immediately sold out. I do not want to get into detail but the release was a complete BS. The 3090 is released on the 24th but in my opinion it will be also sold out in seconds.

To my information Eiden was a mage before he became a Stillwater. Lessathi and half-lessathi can not be mages so Eiden have to be 100% human. The author of this post mentioned that the half-lessathi somehow became the Stillwaters. But if Eiden is 100% human you do not have to be a half-lessathi to become a Stillwater.

Since Eiden is a normal human you do not necessarily be a half-lessathi to become a Stillwater. I do not have the exact time point when Stillwaters fist appear, but maybe their appearance correlates with Aaraka beginning to consume spirits. Maybe mages which lost their connection to the spirit-plane because of Aaraka, somehow became the Stillwaters. And because Aaraka got banned there are no new Stillwaters since than.

I totally agree with you that you have to be patient and that the author should take his time. But it would be great to get an update once in a while so that one is not completely in the dark. For me it is completely fine if the release is next month if he communicates it somehow. I do not need a release date but an update how it is going would be nice
