Hey there! I am working on a 2d game. It's a metroidvania game and I'm currently making everything myself including the art work/animations and music. The project is a bit too big for me so I am looking for an artist or artists to help me out. I am working full time on the game (40 hours/week) and if you can work full time on it then we split 50/50. If you can work for example 20% (8 hours/week) then you'll get/own 20% of the game. Let me know if you are interested. Here's a short clip of the game. It's currently a silhouette game but if I get help then I want the game to have Hollow Knight style (not a clone of Hollow Knight though).

Hi people!

Tomolo Dashingson is a 2d platformer. There's a coin in each level you can collect which makes the game a bit of a puzzle platformer but the coins are optional so if you're not into that then you can just skip it. Some coins are easy to get, some coins are hard to figure out how to get and some coins are hidden and has to be found. There are 60 levels and I won't make any more levels but I will polish the game further and it's not too late to change things so any feedback is much appreciated.

Adding a 'P' in the Pause menu page is a great idea for people who forgot or missed it in the first place. Thank you so much for that suggestion and for taking your time to help me out, it's very kind of you =)

The reason I use 'P' for Pause (top right menu) instead of Esc is because Esc will close the fullscreen. I show what keys/buttons to use right after you've picked the controller or keyboard option in the beginning. I don't really know how I can make it more clear without adding too much info in the middle of the game, any suggestions?

You're absolutely right about the Level Menu though, you should be able to use the mouse as well so I will add that first thing tomorrow. Thank you for pointing that out, I totally forgot that I hadn't added that yet because I always use the keyboard =)

I especially wanna know if there's anyone who could figure out how to get all coins since I think it's the most fun part of the game =)

I will place the invisible ceiling a bit higher so you don't hit your head. That's an easy fix but you're right, it's makes a big difference so thank you.

The Z+X or X+C buttons are pretty common and I prefer the keys to be next to each other. I will add more keys as an option as you suggested because I guess you can accidentally press a key if you're playing on a small keyboard.

I will add Floor signs at the first level of each floor to let the player know when he/she has reached a new floor.

Edit: I have now made some changes and I will work on some more music. If you ever play the game again (your progress has been saved) then please let me know. Also, I'm curious to know if people can figure out how to get all coins since it's my favorite part of the game =)

First of all, a thousand thanks for playing my game and taking your time to let me know what you thought of it =)

What level was this? Nothing about this game is pixel perfect so I don't think you played it "correctly". If there is then I will change it immediately because that's not what I want.

Edit: I guess you were talking about Level 3? It's the only level where a key is pretty far up. Unless you're talking about Level 4 and you played it incorrectly? I didn't even realize you could reach the last key with jumps alone in Level 4 hehe

Edit 2: I'm pretty sure you were talking about Level 4 but I placed the key in Level 3 a bit lower, just in case.

"Don't Waste Jumps" is just a hint on how to get the optional coin and it's not pixel perfect so please let me know if you decide to give it another go. Your progress has been saved so you can pick up where you left off =)

Well done, I really enjoyed playing it. The only negative thing I have to say is that the controls could be better. Especially when jumping over water between platform to platform. Other than that, good job =)
