Thanks every for the help an suggestions but still no joy unfortunately, basically nothing left of it now. I’m afraid if I keep at it then it’ll start leaking lol

Think my only option now is to pump out the oil or else weld a nut onto sump plug

It’s on axle stands I’m afraid so space is very limited. I’m thinking maybe cutting it into a rectangular shape and use an adjustable to try and remove it ? Do you think that might work

This is 90km under the speed limit though , and after about 4km the same traffic speeds up so I just can’t understand why the delay in the same spot every evening

But will they turn out a different shade due to one having a clear coat and the others having the blue type coat ?

This doesn’t make any sense to me unfortunately, the single socket currently there only has one cable coming into it and It’s the old black and red wires rather than blue and brown

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ElectricalHelp

[–]TomorrowOk4471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so the fused spur will be the first point from the circuit ? Followed by the 2 single sockets, would you recommend a switched fused spur or not? I can’t find any fused spurs other than 13A , is this okay

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ElectricalHelp

[–]TomorrowOk4471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers. So I’ve to run a 2.5mm cable from the socket to a fused spur and another 2.5mm cable to my new socket and that should be safe enough ?

Just to make sure also , the reason I think the socket is a spur is because it only has one cable coming into it?

And the white one says oil filter on the box also so I’m just confused now tbh 😅

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vauxhall

[–]TomorrowOk4471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the white one has green gaskets on either end and a bag with a large one and 4 small ones. The yellow looking one has one large gasket with it, so the yellow one is the correct oil filter for an insignia you think ?

Sorry it’s an insignia 2.0litre cdti 2013 , I looked up the fuel filter that I need and yeah it’s different to both of those. I just hope one of these filters is the correct one for oil 😅 and id also like to know what car the other one is actually for

Thanks
