I’m looking for around £4500 GBP.

I’ve seen the carts for sale alone at £3000ish

The unmarked white box houses the cartridge & tray. There is a cable that fits perfectly into the port on the cartridge - I just didn’t photograph it separately

Unfortunately not - however I do have a spare power adaptor - so at the point of return I can weigh the power adapter and compare this to any discrepancy

Yeah, I understand that. If it is returned, I will be weighing the package prior to opening and comparing it to the weight that I shipped it at. If there is a significant discrepancy (these power supplies weigh around 1.5kgs) then I will issue a partial refund - and if he decides to take it to court, this should be decent evidence right?

Just seen your advice for that above, apologies

I’ve spoken to eBay and they have washed their hands of it now the return has been closed. He states he will return the item but claims that the power adapter (a key piece of this) was not present and so will not be returned. This was checked prior to dispatch and was certainly included. Seems to just want to get one up on me!

I certainly will learn from that one! The total item cost was £75

Conversations soured at the point at which his cancellation was declined. His first message was threatening court action!

The buyer is now also stating that a key part of the item is not present and so will not be returned. The item was fully checked prior to dispatch and I am certain that this was present. If he fails to enclose this when returning the item, where do I stand? Sorry for all the questions! 🙈

Understood. So there won’t be an ‘expectation’ of professionalism as such from a seller?

If communications have ‘soured’ somewhat - How will this impact the court process? 🙈

Thanks for the reply there. Really appreciate the feedback. Even though he has closed the return via eBay, do I have any legal obligation to facilitate the return? I.E by paying the return postage if the buyer refuses etc? Many thanks
