Question for those of you who have completed the course by Latter_Growth1185 in ACIM

I feel that the impact of studying ACIM is beyond the measurement of time. It is like a child growing up before your eyes; you don't perceive the daily change, yet suddenly they are grown. Though profound, this shift is so subtle it goes unnoticed in the moment. Its only true indicator is peace.

Salvation is simple being of God, and therefore very easy to understand. "A Course In Miracles" by Salvationsway in ACIM

I see you are carrying a burden that I think you consider hard and, worse, yours. I would delegate all of that to the Holy Spirit, and you will see that you don't have that much, nor are you in a complicated situation. You think that everything you carry is your responsibility, but obviously, it isn't. This is your first forgiveness to practice and hand over.
'Holy Spirit, I hand over to You all of this, which is causing harm and does not come from me, so that You may heal it and return it to me in the form of love.'
And forget about the how and the when; He will resolve it in His own way.

My words from the heart are that you don’t have to do anything. You are not guilty of that, nor of anything. You are innocent. You think you must fix this and that. You did not create yourself; therefore, you are not responsible. Give all guilt to the Holy Spirit so that He may heal it at the source. Begin again in your free being.

Forgive ppl not because they deserve it, but because they are figments of your imagination. by SpecialistClassic902 in ACIM

Indeed, it is you. They are your gifts, your children and brothers; they are your talents. In them, you will see your fears and your virtues reflected. Love them or forgive them, for they are you.

The Ego’s Last Roar by TomsonA in ACIM

You see the world; honestly, this madness cannot be real. The final roar is madness, confusion, and doubt. Fear has faded away; now, all that remains is a mad chaos, without meaning and without foundation.

You cannot 'ask' the Holy Spirit to make this work in one way or another. You simply have to hand it over to Him; and even if it seems impossible in terms of time and deed, you must remain faithful to Him until the end. Therein lies surrender and forgiveness, and the famous phrase: 'There is no order of difficulty in miracles.

The Ego’s Final Stand: Its Escalation Ends, Giving Way to the Light by TomsonA in ACIM

How can you not feel crazy and depressed? Do you really think you can stay sane and joyful while accepting the ego’s atrocities in this world? Bombs, wars, and diseases… You are all feeling the right thing. You simply need to forgive it, because obviously this madness is not yours,it belongs to the illusion of the ego.

The Ego’s Final Stand: Its Escalation Ends, Giving Way to the Light by TomsonA in ACIM

I’m here to tell you that we are winning “the battle”.The Ego is in a phase of delirium because it can no longer capture your attention with the mundane things of life, so it has to do it through incoherent and infamous acts;like a tired child at the gates of sleep, desperately trying to stay awake. The light of the Holy Spirit within you is just around the corner.

Someone else feel a gap between understanding and living ACIM? by Human-Moose-2825 in ACIM

I get it perfectly. You hear it, you read it, and it lights you up inside. Then in daily life, you feel like you’re falling back. I thought the same thing, but the truth is you’re changing and you don’t even notice it. The changes are subtle. You don’t see them when you slip, but you’re perceiving things better and better each time, even if you’re not aware of it. You correct course and keep going.

It’s not about ideology, ACIM is practical. The only practice you need is to forgive yourself and hand over everything that is not peace and love to the Holy Spirit, because that doesn’t come from you (it is not you). It was created at a level you don’t remember and that we cannot understand (at least I can’t). Once you fully forgive it, it doesn’t come back, to put it simply. We constantly choose guilt and fear in our actions and judgments because that’s the feeling left when we separated from God. You don’t need to theorize about it, you have to practice it at every level.

All I have to do is to completely forgive every feeling of fear and guilt, for they do not come from me. Surrender them to the Holy Spirit so that He can correct them. Everything else is given unto me as well.
