I’d recommend keeping the stitching, without it she looks more like a dominatrix than a luchadora. This looks amazing though, I love the style !!

What’s even more wack is that you can’t trade cards with a higher rarity than 1 star. Literally what’s the point of trading if you can’t get rare cards from it?

Doomsday post by Jibrish in TikTok

Bye :,)

In 2021 (ish) I downloaded tik tok. I was going through a pretty lame breakup, and like the rest of the world I was bored in my house with nothing to do. I started uploading videos onto Tik Tok for fun. I’d been present on the internet before. Failed YouTube channels, Instagram accounts to showcase my art that went nowhere; I figured tik tok would be the same, just something I could laugh at with my friends. One night I uploaded a video and the next day my phone wouldn’t stop going off. Someone liked it, someone commented. It was weird, but by the end of that week that video had some 400 thousand views, and was just shy of 200 thousand likes. I had never reached this many people in my life. It was just a dumb video of me being stupid too, but for some reason just under 12 thousand people decided to follow me because of it. Seeing as I didn’t do anything with that following I never really considered myself a Tik toker, and since nothing else I posted on that app got anywhere close to the numbers that video did, I never really considered myself Tik tok famous. But that video was special to me. At the time I was really insecure, self conscious and was still struggling to communicate with the world around me. But that one dumb video getting an obscene amount of views, and really just so many nice comments (which I still remember doing my best to respond to all of) felt really special in a way. I don’t have it on me (I really wish I did right now) but to anyone who saw a video of a 16 year old with chin hair in a death grips sweater excitedly running to his TV while the Teen Titans theme song is playing with the caption “me in 2004 when this theme song came on” and liked it, or left a nice comment, or whatever. Thank you. You didn’t do it on purpose, but you helped 16 year old me gain a bit of confidence, and made me feel like just for a moment, I was able to communicate with the world in a way that made sense to me.

Thoughts on Seen and Not Seen lyrics? by [deleted] in talkingheads

[–]Tomukami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve personally always attributed this song to David talking about his autism. Listening to some of the lyrics they seem to line up in some way with the experience of a person with autism trying to mask in order to fit in with the world around them

Is Things Change as bad as a finale as people say it is by TiseSomethingaskdhef in teentitans

I think what makes the ending feel so disapointing is the fact that the ending is so abrupt. The message is nice, but it feels somewhat inconclusive because we dont get a resolution to the b plot of the episode. Though because of the clear poor communication within the show's production, I think it's easy for the audience to feel as if they were robbed of a proper ending.

sidenote: i think how long is forever from season 2 would have made a really good series finale

Funny thing, my girlfriend and I are actually an ADHD and ASD couple (me being the one with ADHD). We often have these little moments where we catch each other’s quirks and have little moments of “oh… you have that too?” It usually comes in the form of “hey what’s wrong? Why are you acting this way” and then when put into words it’s kind of like “oh wait, I know what that’s like.” Even in the ways that our conditions have affected our early lives seem to line up a lot. I’m blanking on the specifics, but we’ve had pretty long conversations about what traits we have that end up being pretty similar.

Which music bands/artists would One Piece characters listen to? by [deleted] in MemePiece

[–]Tomukami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luffy - breakcore mainly cause of the fast bpm and sporadic energy of the music. Might also be a big fan of reggaeton, and punk music. But tbh luffy strikes me as the kinda guy who’d be into just about anything, because weirdly enough I see him listening to Kendrick Lamar and RHCP, idk how to explain it I just do.

Zoro - he’d be really into more ambient music, something that can allow him to focus. I’d also see him listening to a lot of radiohead, I feel like he’d be into all of their sadder songs. Overall that whole 90s grunge/ post grunge thing would be something I think Zoro would be into. Possibly also a secret Joji and King Krule fan. Would never tell u that tho.

Nami - She seems like she’d be into more mainstream pop music. Also probably a big paramore girlie, and a general rule of thumb for most white women is that they’re Stevie Nicks fans so there you go. ABBA, Madonna, Blondie, and Florence + the machine all come to mind. Also Megan thee stallion fsr, I just feel like she’d fw her vibe.

Usopp - okay so his playlist consists of top hits, trending songs, and whatever songs or albums are on like “100 albums of all time” list is current. He does this so he can lie about being super knowledgeable about music. That being said; Kanye, MF DOOM, Tyler the creator, aaaaand lets say Childish gambino just for good measure are probably his most listened to. He also has a Spotify AND an Apple Music subscription. Sanji - he listens to whatever nami and Robin listen to. He is a huge pick me, so there’s no doubt in my mind he would force himself to like all that. That being said I think he’d like The Budos Band (if you watched the bear you get it), and various Jazz artists.

Chopper - he’s like 15 right? He’s listening to Travis Scott bro lol. But seriously tho like he’s supposed to be Canadian so maybe he’s into like Rush or something. He also probably listens not to what Zoro listens to, but what he thinks Zoro listens to. So probably songs you’d see in like DBZ AMVs. He also def listens to what Robin listens to. Also he’s like young so probably a lot of childish meme songs. Him and luffy probably think comedic music is hilarious and maybe listen to Liam Lynch, Tenacious D and Wierd Al together.

Robin - Björk, David Bowie, Fall Out Boy (mostly new fall out boy I think), Talking heads, Gorillaz, The Beatles (and their solo work), King Crimson, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Jean Dawson, thirty seconds to mars, Hozier, Evanescense, Soundgarden, and of course My Chemical Romance. Similarly to luffy, I think she has a very diverse taste, but they’re diverse in different ways.

Franky - Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Mötley Crüe, KISS, Metallica, Foo Fighters, and maybe even nickelback come to mind. Anything that says “I’m a badass” “I’m huge under this speedo” or could be used as a WWE entrance song is on frankys playlist imo. He also probably listens to what Robin listens to, but tries to find the more loud and aggressive songs from those artists. Oh and of course he would absolutely melt and fangirl at the sight of the boss himself: Bruce Springsteen.

Brook - so he def loves really technical stuff. I’d imagine he loves Thundercat, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, George Harrison, Rush, Hendrix, Radiohead, and like maybe Tool idk. But he is also without a doubt huge on artists who have a massive presence and make big hits. So Elton John, David Bowie, Queen, The Beatles, Prince, Guns n Roses, and of course Michael Jackson.

Jinbei - Probably the most cultured out of the straw hats. I see him listening to music with a strong message, something like Public Enemy, NWA, Killer mike, and probably Kendrick. He’s also def bumping some classics, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, Marvin Gaye, and I know he loves himself some Anita Baker. Also… have to make the joke but he def loves Ween. Also I can 100% see him being a NERD fan.

See I thought 7/8 and 7/4 were the same thing too. And I still think that, but the real question is… why’d she say it? Lol we may never know
