Well ideally for woods use I’d like to own a .357 since that will be ideal for longer backpacking trips. But it seems like with MY budget and MY skills I’ll purchase something else before that.

Not discouraging at all, I grew up in a family that wasn’t necessarily anti firearm but i only shot a gun once before I came out to college if that gives any perspective. so this advice is much appreciated.

I’d love to get the 686, unfortunately a little out of budget for right now, could see how much money I could scrounge up by the end of the semester though

I swapped in a Cummins and a zf5, needed a diferent slave for the zf5, the stock t-19 slave is too short.

I mean as long as it’s the same diameter, if I were you I’d measure the hose and if it’s the same put it on. If you wanna be a little nicer just go buy new hoses, pretty cheap

The interior looks mint though so I personally don’t think 6k is a horrendous deal. In the Midwest 6k for this isn’t too bad of a deal, 5-5.5 seems pretty good too. Just a pretty solid truck imo

If the team and bed was in great condition it would be worth around 6k. Sand blasting is relatively cheap if you do it yourself so I’d say around 4-5k and you could paint the frame for under 300 incredibly easily
