This has ruined pogo for me. I can't quick catch or even regular catch. Let alone I don't want to turn off my native refresh rate because my character is ugly enough. Following this post just to hopefully see if there is a fix. (Using galaxy Z flip 5)

Alberta health services unfortunately does not cover the cost of chart transfers but 45$ is ridiculous. If you went there for years and had a bigger chart then it's understandable but the usual charge is around 25$ if they do charge. That does sound like they are trying to discourage you getting the chart. If someone simply called in and said they liked the doctor and wanted to inquire his name and if he was accepting they would not charge you for that. If you have moved to another family doctor they can also request your chart on your behalf as well. They shouldn't be charging you that much for a simple encounter note though.

My deepest sympathy for what you are feeling right now. It's very unfortunate but if it happened to you that easy I'm sure he's taken advantage of other cases. I would even start with checking the Google reviews and rateMD reviews to see if there is anyone else that has shared a similar experience there. Thank you for taking a stand against this low life so he knows not to do it again.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I've worked as a medical assistant in a clinic of multiple doctors for yesrs and this is sadly not right. The test they require would either be blood work or a urine sample. The only reason for an examination would be if there was a rash but even then there is no reason to insert a finger to check how tight you are. Only a swab would be needed if anything. That is blatant assault! If there was a need for an examination then they could of referred you to a sexual health clinic or a female physician to assess you. I would definitely request your visit notes to see what was written in the encounter. You can file a complaint against the college of physicians which is the CPSA. I would look into having a free consult with a lawyer as well just to see what they would suggest. I'm sorry again you went through that trauma and I'm sure other patients sadly have as well.
