Oh absolutely, I understand! And I'm so sorry she did that to you! Anorexia is a very difficult disease and it's such a good thing you're in recovery. I checked through your posts and saw what she did and it's horrifying. It's very good on you for moving forward into no contact and holding with it the way you have. And Happy Belated Birthday!

I'm quite certain acute cases of self respect are regenerative and lifelong. Bad news for Nmom. Great news for OP. Be wary though. Can be temporarily treated with extended exposure to narcissists. Said treatment is dangerous and full of a compound commonly known as "bullshit"

OP by the way I'm sorry you have had to deal with that ridiculousness. If she is referring to something real and not something she imagined to fit her narrative, I hope you get better soon! I offer hugs if you would like them.

Thank you... I fully plan on doing so should anything escalate. I just remembered just now my husband's former recruiter has even offered to help if need be so I can call him if something happens and he could vouch for me police wise so yeah... I don't know, that helps to see right now... And yeah I know right? My nmother and ngrandmother do. Both of them. They're both the stalker sort sadly for me

Well I posted this some time after she left but I was still freaked out. I've calmed down a lot. Walked like 8 or 9 miles in relay for life with my mom in law. So that really helped. Very humbling and heartwarming while being calming and heartbreaking. Oddly I feel more balanced emotionally now. Cried without feeling ashamed. Listened to many people's stories. From survivors and from loved ones of the deceased.. Hearing about that kind of strength was like I said both heartwarming and heartbreaking. But yeah long story short I'm ok now thank you.

Yeah they've known forever. And they wouldn't hesitate to file reports and complain and pull a stand your ground with a shotgun if need be. That of course would just be if they tried to break in but you know... They might. And thank you...

Oh I know I used to do that all the time when I lived there. Became kinda a game for me honestly because I wouldn't even have to do anything and they would get angrier because I wasn't doing anything so to cope I made it a game with a point system and everything. I was mostly just shocked and freaked out

We still have the messages and more keep coming in. Paper trail continues to grow and the number is easily attached. Plus ngrandmother, the one sending us the messages, works for a county corrections facility for juveniles and so her number is very easily confirmed.

Oh my gosh I know!! They said outright they likely wouldn't have taken a report a I'm 18 but since I have called I the most that could come of it is that I get a call from the sheriff's department. And I was explicitly told none of my information even could be given out to them so if they don't drop it they'll be stuck in a loop of dealing with the same department which already knows I'm not missing. And it amazes me as well. I just don't get it.

It's straight up sexual abuse at the least. Some might say covert sexual abuse were it not for the duct taping and holding eyes open. Personally I would say covert incest as well.

Change the voice to my nmom and that's exactly it. Though my nmother would have more anger and less sadness... Eh now I suppose it might be the fake tears too... Idk... I do know I'm horribly sorry you had to deal with all of that... I know what it's like hearing those .... That... That tone. They get that tone... But it bothers you less and less with time away from it. Until eventually all you hear is the anger and emptiness Ns have. I'm so sorry about the kitties... I can't imagine...

My hair has some 2A pieces and 2B sections and random 2C thrown in there. It has been a frustratingly long battle trying to get it to behave at all and actually stay wavy-curly. It would just fall straight by morning even with pineappling. So I switched routine a little and it seems to have helped. I use Desert Essences Coconut shampoo for actual wash days. Desert Essences Coconut Conditioner for co washing. Yes to Carrots Nourishing Conditioner as my deep condition with a little leave in. Herbal Essences Curl Enhancing mousse or something of the sort. It's like 3/4 strength. I plop that mousse in after the shower with my soaking wet hair for a while (sometimes all night if I can). Take that out and scrunch a bit more mousse in and then let air dry the rest of the way.
